Shady Grove Park

I’m disappointed their isn’t any trees around the swing area. Sun is in the babies eyes.

5 stars for what it is: a smaller little community park.
Clean, nice play structure, lots of shady little spots to sit under a tree. A couple of basketball hoops. In a nicer new community.
I am not rating it on a scale of all of the parks of the world, but compared to similar parks of it’s size it is a great spot to sit under a tree and read a good book.

Great park for kids and parents. Plenty of shade, slides, swings. Nice sand area. Parking could be scarce though. There is also basketball hoop. Very clean bathrooms.

Basketball courts, play ground, tables, grills, benches, restrooms and doggie bags, basically this park has everything except tennis but its still an amazing little park for the community to walk to or drive. There is a lot of open space to run and roll around the grass but don’t roll around the grass along the walking paths dogs poop and pee around the edges I know I happen to walk a dog that does this, not mine its my sisters legally but don’t worry people do pick up their dogs business with the doggy bags around the park. Use a blanket to sit on it on and bask in the family fun. If you want to reserve the table areas well get there early because you don’t want to be that family off on the side with your canopy because you didn’t get their early enough but its OK you can forget all about it by running around the park just run it off and have a great time.

I love the openness of this park it’s great for dogs, and I love the play ground for the kids! I especially love the pits that frequent this park! If you see them. Be sure to stop and say hi. They are the sweetest pair ever. :)

This is a small community park. It’s good for a quick walk. It’s not an ideal park for working out unless you want to run circles around the park. Their track makes a circle around the play area. A few benches also line the play area. There’s not a lot of parking here so if it’s a holiday do come early. Overall a good park for a light stroll

Being fairly new to the area, I was in need of finding a park I could bring my kids and dog too. This seems to be a nice park we find ourselves coming back to. It has a playground for the kids, basketball court, a path to walk/​jog around, doggie stations with plastic bags, and a covered area with tables that can be used to throw birthday parties (so I’ve seen on weekends). The neighborhood it’s located in is decent which is a plus.

My kids and doggie love coming to this park. LEASH your PIT BULL because it’s the LAW. Leash is supposed to be CONNECTED TO YOUR HAND.

It’s okay, smallish.

I love this park. I go almost every day. At first, some of the older people tried to be homies with me but it was a little awkward. Besides, I can’t run and talk at the same time without wanting to throw up so I had to start using my iphone headphones to ward the friendly inhabitants off. It worked, and I enjoy my run time in peace now. It is a well maintained and kid-​friendly park!

Nice park in the middle of a great community. It’s very well maintained. I agree with the previous review about not having alot of parking but I hadn’t really noticed until I read his review because I always walk there since I only live about ½ mile from it. The jungle gym is very large with lots of things on it to entertain little ones. There are basketball courts in the front, although they always taken… my husband and I have tried to play a couple times there but have never gotten an open basket. My only complaint of this place, and I know this is ridiculous, but I dont like how squeaky the swings are… they really need to be oiled. :)

This park is in the right place, great place for the neighborhood to come to and take a lap or two. Kids have fun in the little jungle gym there. The only problem here I think is the lack of parking and the grills are made for little people unless the goal is to grill in your beach chair then that I take back. Had a great time here this past weekend with friends and family.
