BECAREFULRENTINGHERE. This is not a regular u haul. It is privately owned and operated even though it clearly says U HAUL. My gf’s dad rented her a truck here trying to be nice for her move back to Chino Hills and the day got away from us and instead of risking her being late for work(ER Nurse) she called UHaul and asked if we could drop it off in Whittier at their location on leffingwell. UHaul said we could on the phone so we tried. A very straight forward and rude associate by the name of BERNARDOCRUZ turned us away and told us we had to go back to the shitty location in Chino where the truck had come from or they would charge us DOUBLE for leaving it there. Even tho it is a «circulation truck» and is absolutely no different from any truck they had on their lot. Simply just«because», no other justifiable reason. After having to add gas yet again driving back to Chino from Whittier in rush hour traffic I was greater by the associate there who explained the same situation with no remorse even tho they had not explained that to us in person when we picked up the truck or on the phone when we had called later. After driving over an hour I needed to use the restroom and he stated there was no public restroom. I explained to him my day and my situation and asked if he could please make and exception. He proceeded to tell me how no one was allowed because they were«burned by a person in a wheel chair». I felt that was rude and inappropriate all in itself. I then asked where I could find a public bathroom and he was not able to give me directions and said there was a street near by named central. So away I went hoping it was in the right direction on foot having to use the restroom with shitty directions until I finally found a wine and spirits outlet that let me Use their restroom. I called my Lyft and paid $ 30 get home. Long story short, this place sucks, they are rude, and take selling paper boxes way to serious. Rent a truck from Home Depot instead.

I called Uhaul the night before my move, and Patrick informed me that there may be a van available the next day. The customer hasn’t returned the van, and Patrick didn’t want to say that he had one. He got my information just in case the van was returned that night. An hour later, Patrick called me and told me the was available. That’s customer service for you. Patrick and Corey are very helpful. They’ll get you in and out as fast as possible so you can do your moving.
