Just because the price is low doesn’t mean the room should be unclean. There were stains in the white sheets and bedspreads. The paint in bathroom was chipping and it wasn’t even cleaned properly. The AC couldn’t decide if it was heating or cooling. There were inexplicable stains on several walls. Thank goodness Walmart was near, to buy an extra pair of sheets to sleep on.

Our bathroom was a little dirty when we got to our room (hair ball in the tub) and it’s pretty noisy. The road noise is really loud and the walls are very thin. Also, the pillows are the worst pillows I have ever slept on. They hardly have any stuffing in them. My final complaint is the Internet connection. It’s horrible. I’m better off using the 1 – 2 bars on my phone.

Since this is the hotel’s first review I feel honored… I told the owner that I’d give him a good review of he gave me a nice room (I guess that’s bribery)…he gave me a beautiful room, the kind you see in the the ad photos… New hi def tv, refrigerator, microwave, no smoke… king size bed, clean, ice machine right next door… it was like the room that’s kept for special guests… I was happy… for $ 50 dollars, are you kidding. I scored.
I haven’t spent the night here yet and it’s Saturday and the town is one of those that feels like it’s got a dark secret or two that it’s hiding, but we will see. I’ll update this post in the morning.
