It’s a gas station. What is so great about a gas station? Well, I suppose not much. ?You stop. Fill up. Get a snack, maybe, and move on. But there just seems to be something about this particular place. Maybe it is the nostalgia(I used to stop here on my way to/from college and home — ½ way marker of sorts), or maybe it is just the friendly service. I’d like to say, of all my travels through here, I’ve found this to be a nice stop. All convenience stores are pricey, that is just the way it is. But the staff is friendly, and the area generally clean. It is always nice to go somewhere where the attendant smiles and doesn’t just take your money. And the last time I was there was no exception. Now that the freeway allows you to pretty much skip downtown Chippewa Falls I tend to pass right by, kind of like Radiator Springs in Cars — and many real places on good ol’ Route ’66. Take your time. Stop and smell the… gas pumps? :)
