We just had a great lunch at this little gem tucked away on the golf course. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere and delicious food! Couldn’t ask for more! With winter approaching, their hours will change. Soon they will be serving dinner only. Give the Ridge a try, you won’t regret it!

Great tavern atmosphere, live music, outdoor seating, and a view. Nice selection of beer on tap and their bacon is the best bacon on the block. Service is lacking, I think they’re still working out some kinks.

Thank you Unilocal for helping us find this hidden gem. Décor is cozy and warm. We sat outside on the porch and it was beautiful. The food and drinks were very good. My husband and I shared the beef tips over mashed potatoes(portions are large) it was the special. We also had a couple appetizers. The fried golf balls and crab cake, both delicious. The salad dressing was homemade and great flavor. Can’t wait to take a drive back out here so we can try more, and hopefully save room for dessert. Service was ok, on the slow side.

Loved it. The crab cakes were soon good and the entrees weren’t shabby either. We had braised ribs over polenta and chicken ridges(a CNY dish with several variations). Great server and great view over the golf course. Can’t wait to come back and try the bread pudding.

What. A. Gem. I don’t play golf but one of my favorite people brought me to this clubhouse, a place I never would have found. Their menu is full of delicious choices, they have indoor and outdoor seating, and they even have couches if you don’t want the formality of a table. They have an excellent selection of New York craft beers on tap and in the bottle, a great selection of house cocktails(my Dark & Stormy’s were ONPOINT) and a bourbon selection that can make you weep. We sat outside on a windy afternoon and were greeted by friendly staff that went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable, even moving the outside heaters without being asked to ensure we were cozy and comfy outside. Prices were more than fair. The downstairs dining room gave the impression of a more upscale atmosphere, so we ate in the pub(because class? I ain’t got no class! J/k downstairs wasn’t serving because we went on the first day of the 2015 golfing season) but the upstairs pub was obviously a popular choice. It looked like they offer live bands on Wednesday and Friday nights according to the schedule out front. I was pleasantly surprised to find a 10% discount when I checked in on Unilocal,so, win. Oh, get their crab cake. Awesome. So much lump crab meat barely held together with minimal breadcrumbs and served over a Dijon mustard sauce. So delicious. We were just there for appetizers, so we had that, their fried golf balls(fresh mozzarella breaded with panko crumbs and served with golf tees!!) and their homemade chips. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu items! The atmosphere is casual and friendly.

Surprisingly cool local tavern. The food was good but it was a bit slow to get our entrees. The burger was good but there are other local places that have better.

First time eating here. Ambiance is comfortable, with a warm fireplace and rustic feel. The food is tasty and portions properly sized and priced. However, our service was very, very slow, which severely detracted from our experience and the reason for my low review here. The waitress seemed to be split between our table, another table on the opposite side of the room, and a set of tables in the basement room(we were on the main floor). Our main course took at least 40 minutes to be served(a table next to us arrived 15 minutes after us but were served their main meal about 10 minutes before us), we were never offered a second(or more) round of drinks, and we were not offered dessert. At the end of the meal the hostess, not our waitress, had to deliver our check and cash us out. This after a long and uncomfortable wait for some attention. I will say that when we did interact with our waitress she was friendly, but unfortunately that did not make up for the extreme inattentiveness. At some point we will go back for one more try to see if this was just a bad day . As a side note, there is no children’s menu(or at least that we were offered) so younger children have to order from the main menu and pay main prices. Parking at this point in the winter consists of a long, narrow lot made up of mud and puddles. You won’t want to be trudging through this lot with high heels or nice shoes.

Love this place! Bacon app is a must have! Other favorites are the chicken Sophia, sweet potato fries and caprese Blt. Just be prepared to be there a long time. It’s a dining experience with a long time from being seated to being served dinner.

The atmosphere is warm, cozy and rustic. The Mediterranean Platter was a great appetizer and feed our group of 8.

I love this place. Warm rolling wood fire is the first thing you see when you walk in. We sat at the bar and had great service from the bartender. Basket of bacon on the menu! It was crispy and delicious. Bone in Pork chop was good, not great. But it was a crazy night so maybe more well done than I like. Otherwise a huge surprise. This place rocks.

Highly recommend– great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service! The band that performed last night was awesome. 4 stars because service was a little slow but that was expected because the place was packed. I would definitely go back!

Was once the best kept secret in CNY… not so much anymore! This is a fantastic place, for dinner, music on Friday nights, great place to just have a drink by the open fire. It’s connected with Clear Path for Veterans up the street, so proceeds go to operations. The chefs prepare local meat dishes, Asiago crusted salad bowls, and desserts that will make you gain weight looking at them. Service is congenial… personal… attentive. GOTHERE. is a sharp turn into the golf course entrance when heading east. Don’t miss it. Call first. Winter schedule is weekends only. Come back in April/May when the course is open.. play a round. .eat a local burger. You will come back again and again!
