Finally an Irish Pub in my neighborhood. This place is da Irish Car Bomb. Live music (often Ravens Three), excellent fish n chips. The Peat Bog is out of this world… OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. And now for the bonus round… they know the exact temperature at which to pour my pint of Guinness, and it arrives at my table properly headed and ready to drink.

The Black Raven exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious and the beer was fresh and crisp! This pub is very clean, well designed, and comfy! The live edge oak plank tables elevate the authenticity and atmosphere of this Mom and Pop business. The staff was friendly and the kitchen looked spotless. Settle in and enjoy handmade well-​crafted food in Choctaw, OK!

Worth the trip from OKC! We were quite charmed by this unassuming little pub. Every so often you find a gem of a place tucked away where you wouldn’t expect, and the Black Raven is one of these. The drinks were lovely, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food in particular was a very pleasant surprise, blowing well past our expectations. The service was prompt and responsive and made us feel welcome. We went and enjoyed the live Irish music which was well done but didn’t dominate the place– we could still talk to each other. Lastly, woodworkers will be able to admire the talents of the barkeep, who created the live-​edge pecan tables as well as the bar itself. Charming, delicious, and memorable.

The bar is very friendly and the beer is good and fresh and the food is absolutely amazing home cooked Irish food not just «bar food» the staff and the owners are very friendly and accommodating to the needs of the customers

I don’t even know where to start. Ordered the peat bog which is «chips» smothered in shepherds pie & cheese and the bangers and cheddar appetizers and almost had to lick the plates clean due to deliciousness.
The irish martini is STRONG, so not my style but the on tap Strongbow Hard Cider was. I even had one where they added cinammon whiskey and it tastes like cinnamon apple pie. I don’t remember what they call it because we were joking calling it StrongBalls. Soooo good!
Beautiful décor! Just fantastic all around! I would definitely return.
We had the pleasure of listening to Ravens Three when we went, which is a local Irish Folkmusic Trio and they are amazing!!!

Wow! What a great surprise in a strip mall in Choctaw. Great food, great beer, great music. Don’t let the location and the outside keep you from going in. Best fish and chips in OKC area. Reuben made with REAL corned beef. Great service (thanks, Ann) and interesting menu. And ladies, there are purse hooks under the bar. Woo hoo! We will be back for sure!
