Pedro’s Pizza

Great menu. Great service. They are quick and clean with making your food. Nice atmospheric vibe. Me and my wife went here for Small bacon cheese burger, quesdilla, mozzarella cheese sticks. Overall a peferct place to be honest with all.

Just passing through and needed to use the post office down the street and I wanted to try some place local and they told me to come here. Ordered the bacon cheese burger and beer battered onion rings in the meal was amazing… I also had to try the mozzarella sticks and they weren’t bad but they’re not my favorite because I’m very picky hahaha I would definitely come back… They have a good variety of not only Mexican but American food that is similar to Foster’s old fashion freeze

I have seen many different combinations of food, many different fusions. This one sounds odd at first but really works. A Mexican restaurant/​pizzaria. Good Mexican food and good pizza. Why not combine? Awesome chile verde pizza and unique to be able to add chorizo as a topping.

Been here 4 times and haven’t been disappointed once! The pizza slices are huge and the burger n fries are delish just had it today again for lunch

We get pizza from here all the time. Service is pretty good, so is the pizza. Good for the price. A little on the greasy side.

Wow! This place is awesome. I travel a lot up and down the 99 and 152 corridors on business and this has become my new go-​to place for great food. I only wish it was closer to Fresno. I have had their pizza and Mexican food and have loved everything I have tried so far. Their pizza is as close to NY style as I have found anywhere in the central valley. Their other treasure is the Torta Cubana or their version of the Cuban Sandwich. Being from FL, I have not been able to find a decent Cuban sandwich until I had the one here… delicious! If you get one, request that they press it for you. Service is very friendly and surprisingly fast. Indoor and outdoor seating and very clean. They have a big menu and I’m sure there’s something that might not be very good but I haven’t found it yet. I’m so glad I came across this place!

The burritos here are the best! I get carne asada burrito with beans and cheese and then a side of rice & beans. The price is right, the food is awesome, and I never have a problem with the customer service.

For fast Mexican, American (cheeseburgers and milkshakes) and pizza this place rocks! Prices have gone up lately but still reasonable. My favorites include their El Pastor burritos, chicken tostada, and pizza (greasy but thinner crust large slices sort of like New York style).

I have dined at Pedro’s several times now and decided to update my review. I really like this place, and so does my family. While the place looks a little run down, the food is very good. We like to go there because of the variety of choices. Often my wife and I will get Mexican and my daughter will get pizza or a burger. I have tried all three, and think they are all good.
The restaurant is called Pedro’s Pizza, but the Mexican food is the best bet here. Both the Carne Asada (beef) and the Adobada (pork) are very good. My favorite is the Tortas. The bread is fresh and crunchy. The tacos and burritos are also good. Haven’t had the issues with pricing or language problems others have had.

Tried the burgers, pizza, burritos and drinks. All of it is edible. Did find some mold on the burger bun.

This is the place I always go for pizza. For me, in my opinion, it is the best. The owners are very friendly and attentive to their customers. I drive all the way from Madera just to eat here

Ok, the place does not look attractive. They have few picnic tables outside. Inside it is small. I stopped here back from a full day hike in Yosemite, nothing else was open. We had a quesadilla and a large pizza. The food was great!
Other than the pizza has «American» toppings, the base or crust could have come straight from Italy. I may start to cry now.
Don’t be fooled by the humble appearance.

I will preface my review by saying that the pizza’s and burgers are awesome here.
However, as an accountant I have difficulty in understanding why the prices on the menu NEVER add up to the amount I’m charged. So called «specials» seem to not be honored. And when you ask why your being overcharged, they claim to not understand you. So as long as you don’t mind being charged more than the menu prices — you will be quite happy here.
My husband and I used to eat here every week. But when I noticed that we were being continually overcharged — we stopped.

Seems like the night crew does not know their prices for hotwings. Night crew check your menu.

Ok there are two problems with this place but first let me say this is the best pizza and burgers I have had in a long time. The food at this place is awesome and well worth the trip to Chowchilla.
Now for the problems. They are selling pizza and burgers. American food. Speak freaking English. At least have someone on each shift that speaks English. My party spent $ 28 on burgers and fries. Have someone that can take my order without having the do the Spanish dance.
If this was a farm worker taco shop I would expect no English but it is not. This is right in the middle of toothless-​redneck Chowchilla. Learn English if you want my money and I am willing to travel to you for the great food.
The second problem, the restroom is not handicap accessible. A wheelchair or walker can not fit through the door to the hallway for the restrooms. This and the dinning room set up are ADA violations and I can not believe the city of Chowchilla allowed it (I really can believe it but I am saying I can’t for effect).
My seven year old daughter got paint in her hair because on Sunday afternoon there was wet paint on the walls of the restroom and no wet paint sign. I tried to tell them, but no one spoke English.
Great food, no English, no prices on the menu (white tax?), not ADA accessible.

Worst pizza ever. Had to dab with a napkin to remove the grease. Rubbery cheese. Tastes like paper!

Their pizza’s are tasty and fresh! Lots of toppings added, no skimp there!
