Ordered food two days ago, 3 out of 4 were sick and 2 out of the 3 are still sick. We ordered Mongolian beef, pork fried rice and won ton soup. Normal stuff we’ve totally had ordered from here before. Normally we love this place but after this, NO thank you! Mom and sister have had the poops, chills, nausea and migraines for two days and counting.

Food is alright. But what gives it 4 stars is that the food tastes authentically Chinese in an area where I could not find any other restaurant with the same quality of Chinese food. I booked a hotel nearby so i decided to take the meal to-go and I must say that this is definitely a good place for take-out, food is made quick so I only waited maybe 15 minutes max for 2 entrees. The two dishes that I ordered were combination fried rice and veggie chow mein. The fried rice was well cooked although it doesn’t seem to have a lot of meat. The chow mein was actually very tasty and made due without meat. For the area that this place is located and for the price and quality, this is a definite go-to restaurant if I’m ever nearby.

Delicious food and great sauces and selection, what could go wrong? How about using spaghetti noodles for«chow mein» and the rudest service I’ve ever seen(the server was easily annoyed and told us we were ordering too much food. Lol). Still great food(mostly) and they offer take out. So if you can avoid eating there and the chow mein, a pretty awesome place. I recommend their honey walnut shrimp and teriyaki chicken. Yum!

This is an excellent place for Chinese food! Just picked up my order to go and once again the food was delicious. My family and I finally decided to try the Chinese food in our small town after a lot of hesitation. We went with Wah Sing and were pleasantly surprised! Now we have started ordering different items off the menu just to try different dishes and each one of them have been excellent. Potstickers, chow Mein and foil-wrapped chicken are some of the items I always order but I have tried a variety of their other main dish and love them!!!

I don’t live here but whenever I am here to visit family, I cannot wait to eat here. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants around. And this is coming from someone who lives in LA and has eaten at many top restaurants including Mr. Chow just to name one. The staff is extremely accommodating and will make any dish you like vegetarian. I actually eat meat but my wife does not and I have no problem eating either thugs here. Try Mongolian chicken or the black bean sauce

Always loved this place from back when they were in Merced to the past year being in Chowchilla. It’s simple great sauces on every dish from the general’s chicken to anything curry based, from the cashew chicken to the orange chicken all taste wonderful and prices are very reasonable. Their chow mein is one of my favorites from any Chinese restaurant. I grew up enjoying Chinese food on the east coast and few places out here have the great taste found in New York Chinese food. This is one of them.

We dined at Wah Sing tonight. We were a bit hesitant because of our visit last August. We found the hostess and server to be very friendly and attentive. The food was SOMUCHBETTER! We definitely will return! It’s refreshing to have a decent Asian restaurant in Chowchilla. So sick of burgers, pizza and Mexican food!

Good food. Very clean. Friendly and fast service. We have been happy with everything we have tried. The potstickers are home made. Tried the string beans for the first time and they were great. If you haven’t already, give this place a try.

My family was here in Chowchilla before thanksgiving and my mom frequently eats here. There was 11 of us for tonight as my brother wanted Chinese. We called ahead to let them know how many in our party. It’s not fancy but clean. I must say the food was very good, flavorable, served hot and fast, excellent price and excellent service, also friendly staff. We plan to come back with the rest of our family before everyone goes home after thanksgiving day! :-)

I’ve had tons of asian food in my life. Chinese can be hard to compare to flavorful varieties such as Thai and Vietnamese. But this place has scored high both times we have been here. Its clean. The chefs are actually Chinese. The food is very fast and hot! Of the four things we have tried ALL were tasty and flavorful. We will be back again.

Liked them the first time I went after that the service was horrible. I ordered the same food every-time; but it tasted different every-time. I really like the new Tea Garden and it is actually consistent.

There are few places I eat that I don’t have a lot of good things to say about. This is one of them. When my party of two arrived, there were only two other tables with people dining. It was later in the evening, so we were greeted immediately and asked if we would like a table or booth. Once seated, we were asked about drinks as our menus were places in front of us. When they returned with our water, they asked if we were ready to order already. I had just opened my menu and she was maybe two pages in? This happened a couple more times, like they were already trying to rush us. I got that feeling again later, when they were hovering around our table to take empty dishes or give us the check. The food… was interesting. My favorite dish anywhere is the kung pao chicken. Not here. It wasn’t spicy at all, it was rather bland and tasteless, and if I have to hunt through an entire plate to locate chicken in a chicken dish, something is seriously wrong. The orange chicken was decent, but the orange flavor seemed a bit off to me. The potstickers were pretty good. However, when I order am appetizer, I usually expect it to arrive before the meal, not five minutes after. As for the ambience, it seemed pretty quiet, save for the sounds of the televised football game wandering in from God knows where. The bill came to over $ 27 for two people. Not completely expensive, but I’d definitely expect better food for the price. I probably won’t be returning, except to give a second chance in the distant future.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem when we brought our dog to Central Valley vet dr ericksons office and were skeptical at first but then we walked into a friendly clean Chinese spot. The menu was full of great options and the waitress was very informative. We came for lunch so went for the lunch specials and was recommended the Mu Shu combination with chow mein and it was amazing and hot. All the vegetables were crunchy and fresh. They serve you alot and it’s all homemade quality. We met the owner and she was very nice. We live in santa nella but will drive to this gem. I recommend this place to everyone looking for stellar Chinese food. 2 thumbs up

After hearing Wah Sing would be opening in Chowchilla my family and I were thrilled. We frequented the restaurant when it was in Merced and always enjoyed the food. We stopped by on the grand opening and they were packed. It was clear they were not prepared for such a large crowd. Short staffed and issues with the A/C did not help. It did take a while to get waited on and to get our food but we were in no hurry so we didn’t mind. Once our food arrived it was just as good as it was in Merced. The staff continually apologized for the wait. We told them it was no problem and that we understood. We have been back and will continue to go back. The staff has always been nice to us and the food has always been great. People need to understand that just like any new business, there are going to a few hiccups at the beginning. Yes, you want to be treated like a rockstar any time you walk into a restaurant but they simply are not able to do that at the moment. So, if you’re in a hurry you may want to look for a different spot to eat. But if you’re in no rush then Wah Sing is will not disappoint.
