Beautiful place, great breakfast, comfortable bed, Jacuzzi tub. TV offered very few channels that weren’t pay channels.

Kathy is a great hostess! The inn is comfortable, warm and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful. Lou and I have made this our home base when visiting Tech!

A very quaint a place and very out of the way, a good spot if you are coming to the area for the hiking, winery area to the south and east of blacksburg. I’ve never participated in, but have seen tents setup for a party or reception. Its a converted old timey house so the furniture is classic and the bathrooms sometimes oddly shaped. This is not the best hotel choice if you and the spouse decide to have a go late at night… the the house is old and creaky and the interior walls… not well insulated. And the showers? Not meant for two!

I’ve never had the opportunity to stay at the Inn, but I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Kathy and John pretty well over the last several years and they’ve been nothing short of amazing. To walk into their home is to feel as if you’re walking into your own, and the clients I’ve had stay there have become instant fans, as well. It’s a beautifully maintained home, with the most gracious and accommodating hosts … I highly recommend it to anyone who’s either coming through the area, or just looking for a getaway place.

We stayed here for a night while passing through the Blacksburg area en route from Boston to Atlanta. Innkeeper Kathy was extremely friendly and accommodating — she even upgraded our room when the one we’d originally reserved was not made up in time for our arrival. Score a jacuzzi tub at no additional cost! That plus their«gas discount» promotion left the overnight rate at an impressive $ 116 for a luxurious king bed + lavish bath suite. Wifi in rooms, digital cable so you don’t have to miss any of your ‘programs’ while you travel, fridge stocked with snacks, filling homestyle breakfast, beautiful gardens surrounding the inn — you really can’t go wrong staying here. If you’re a business traveler, ask about their special rates — even lower than the extremely fair price that we paid. I’d definitely stay here again if life ever brings me back to Blacksburg.

While searching for a nice, peaceful place to stay while on a recent business trip to Virginia Tech I was fortunate to find this place! What a treat. Immaculately decorated. Quiet. Beautiful gardens. Friendly proprietors. Clean. Wireless internet. My only regret was being here alone. On the plus side, I got a good amount of knitting accomplished :)
