If you ever get a chance to take this tour… DO IT! This was the highlight of our time in Florida. These boats seat six, We had eleven in our group, so we split between two boats. I scored sitting shotgun! We purchased the ninety minute tour of the St. Johns River. Bargain at $ 45.00 for adults and $ 30.00 for kids.
Saw loads of alligators, one Bald Eagle, and countless numbers of shoreline birds. Went into the marshes and among the cypress trees which showed water lines from past flooding. Was amazed at how these boats worked…450 horse power made it easy to glide over the water and land.
Our Captains, John & Dan were great. Lots of information on the land, river and animals. We chose this excursion over Epcot and we all agreed it was our favorite thing we’ve done.
