Hill Top Cafe

I love this place and the food is awesome! They make their own fries fresh. Fresh-​cut fries smothered in brown gravy is great. I tend to come there for the fries, Buffalo wings & Chicken Fingers. I just tried the open-​faced Roast Beef… which was SOOOOOO GOOD! Their Chicken Fingers are more like what I’d call «stripettes» — A pile of little strips of chicken that are like what results when a chicken finger & a chicken nugget (NOT the fast food kind) have a kid.
The stripettes come in a nice, good-​sized pile, covered in wing sauce… and very tender & definitely homemade. Both wings & stripettes are served with a delicious bleu cheese with extra crumbles of real bleu cheese added. The stripettes are an orgasm for my mouth!
Now, I grew up in the North, near Buffalo, N.Y. and as a person who’s eaten many a wing, I can say that the wings are unbreaded & deep-​fried (like in Buffalo) and very close to my hometown’s wings (at least the Medium & Hot sauce-​settings).
The staff is so friendly and they make extra-​sure that you have great service. On slower days, they’ll even chat a little with ya (but don’t occupy them, too much. They have a job to do). Awesome people. They are more than happy to receive suggestions and if your meal is wrong, somehow, they will do their best to rectify it.
I’d recommend this place HIGHLY and I highly suggest that you spread the word! These folks are worthy of your patronage!

Had a delicious brunch here on a Saturday. The food was great and the service was excellent. We had pancakes and ham, poached eggs and bacon, home fries and a shrimp Po’ boy. All the dishes were excellent and came quickly. This restaurant is under new management and changed its name (used to be Lynn’s). I think it is just as good and maybe even better.
