My husband, son and I really enjoy this boot camp. We thought it would be something fun and healthy to do as a family unit and so far we haven’t been disappointed. Now I’m not gonna lie, the workouts are tough, but anyone can do them. It challenges you, but that’s the whole point, right? The trainer, Jimmy, is awesome. He’s super motivating but also lets you go at your own pace if you need to. He’s very aware that everyone’s fitness levels are different. He and his wife Jo Anne are also great when it comes to showing proper form with all the moves. He’s quick to point out improper form to someone but it’s never in an embarrassing or condescending way. He’s very professional and tactful. It’s a full blown workout from head to toe and within 15 minutes of the session, you’re dripping sweat… or is that your fat cells crying? ;) The regulars are a great bunch as well. They’re always cheering you on when you’re losing steam and that gets you through the finish line. You feel so good afterwards so it’s definitely worth the sweat and tears. Getting a great body takes time and work and this boot camp was just the thing we needed to get us off the couch. I also love the high energy, super amped music! Great touch – keeps you going! The rates are VERY reasonable because even though you’re in a group, Jimmy’s there for you with diet, fitness, and nutrition advice upon request, so you almost feel like you have your own personal trainer. The location is great, he could not have picked a better park. Clean, well-lit, family friendly. We also loved that this boot camp is kid friendly. Kids 12 – 14 are free with a paid adult(1 kid per adult). Our son is into youth football so it’s a perfect pre-conditioner for him before his season starts. NOTE: Minimum age to join is 12 and out of consideration, you might want to leave the much younger kids at home. They might be a distraction to you and other members who are trying to focus on a good workout. Just sayin. ;) If you commit to this boot camp and a healthy lifestyle, I guarantee you WILL see results. We highly recommend it. Two thumbs up from the Ojeda family. ***UPDATE*** I had to stop attending boot camp a few months ago because of a leg injury that happened at home, but I healed and with my doctor’s permission, started going to boot camp again in March. One month into it and I’ve already lost 12 lbs!!! Can’t stop won’t stop!!! THANKSAAF!!!
