Chula Vista Presbyterian Preschool

A small tight community preschool, where teachers, parents and students all know each other and it’s like having someone from your family take care of your child. The teachers are amazing, the classes are small and the attention to the student is supreme! 2 out of my three kids have attended CVPP and I highly recommend it!

Our daughter loves going to school everyday. The teachers at CVPP are dedicated and nurturing. If you are looking for a faith based pre-​school, CVPP is the place for your child. We will miss it when our daughter moves on to kindergarten in a few months. Highly recommended!

When we moved back to Chula Vista we were in need of a good preschool that wasn’t going to put us in debt. The first thing I did was search the Internet (Wasn’t a Unilocaler at the time). The second thing I did was ask around. Good friends of ours recommended Chula Vista Presbyterian Preschool (CVPP). Others recommended Eastlake Church. I called both as well as three others.
When I called Chula Vista Presbyterian, an incredibly friendly person answered the phone and gave me all the information I needed. She also told me that I could visit ANYTIME.
When I called Eastlake Church they said I needed an appointment. This turned me off instantly. When I entrust the care of my pride and joy to someone else, I want to be sure that I can ‘stop-​by’ anytime.
My son started with CVPP when he was nearly four. The teachers there are incredibly loving, caring individuals dedicated to preparing children for Kinder.
The administrator, Sue Bowen, made everything so easy. I had a newborn at the time and never knew when the baby would be napping. Sue worked with me. Some days I came to pick up my son at noon, other days I picked him up at 3. At the end of the month she would just charge me for any extra charges I incurred.
As for the price, it was incredibly reasonable. I realize this is a relative term, but compared to other preschools in my area that offered the same hours CVPP was priced at least $ 100 LESS than ANY other preschool I had on my list. There were five total. One preschool charged more for just two days a week than CVPP had charged for five. When my son attended in 2007 – 2008 it only cost $ 380 for five days a week attending from 9 – 12. Any extra hours were only $ 1.50 each.
When my son entered Kindergarten, his teacher asked me what preschool he had attended. She complimented CVPP and told me that I had made a very good choice. I had always knew I had made the right choice, but seeing my son’s first quarter report card left absolutely NO DOUBT in my mind.
The preschool’s hours are from 9 – 12 or 9−1pm. They also have extended hours. Children may be dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. The preschool also offers ‘Parents’ Night Out’ and other programs. Check it out! You will not be disappointed!
