Got a new (used) tire, installed and balanced for 115 $ out the door. Done in 20 min. Excellent service and tons of options. I will be back.

I came in yesterday after driving my tires almost down to the wire. Anyway I came in only for the front tire, but he showed me a rear and gave me deal that I could not resist. I got both tires mounted and balanced for super cheap. Ohh and both tires had about 80% thread left so that is great. Aside from the great deal, the customer service is great. I spoke to Juan, the owner and only worker of the place, and he is great at suggestions and making small talk. I never write review but I figured I should since this is basically the only Motorcycle Tire Shop in the southbay. I would definitely recommend this place and will go back when I need tires again for my Zx10-​r

I visited him during the weekend for the first time because I needed my rear tire changed. He had alot of different options starting from $ 50 and up. He knows how to recommend tires and WOW the service is awesome.
Hes a very chill guy and is very knowledgeable with his own business. Whoever talks shit about Juan Mendonza (owner) most likely doesnt know shit about their own bike. I respect him as the owner of this shop and i will be his long time customer from now on.
Also, notice that there are not that many used tire shops around in San Diego. Alot of his tires have more than 85% thread left which is very good.
Go visit him. You will DEFINITELY not regret it.
TIPS: He even mentioned about my chain needing a service (which i totally forgot about). He is willing to clean it out for ya for a very cheap price and will leave it in immaculate condition.
PS. Keep in mind that I did not knew him at all or his business before until I also got recommended by a friend.

Gonna put this shop on blast by main st. Since they really ripped me off… Maybe because im 17 they decided to take advantage of me and lazily change my tires but the guy here had no mercy on my rims just scratched it all up! … The guy charged me $ 80 to change tires and I said give me a discount but then he said well $ 80 ill take extra good care for it … Did that happen? Nope. Didn’t notice it till i got home because the chips were covered by the front fender and I didnt really notice them at first. I come back and all he said was that wasn’t me and said if I powdercoated my rim it wouldnt happen (which is bs) and even told me the original paint can be taken off by his hands… Just at all cost dont even go here. This is in 2446 main st CYCLE TIRE DEPOTS (btw there were more scratches and chips front and rear but i didnt realize i shouldve taken more pictures I got the rims painted on with the touch up paint)

Filled with tires!!! Got some Used Diablos 180/​55ZR17 still got 70% tread. Took it into Palomar and had no problems. Dude was really helpful and got me out the door in bout 30 mins.

Very knowledgeable staff, had what I needed in stock. Had different options based on my type of riding. Walked away with a pair of Bridgestone t30 as I need a sport touring tire to get to work and on occasion go out for a small drive with friends. Price beats any deal on SD!
