Awww this place brings back so many great memories… anyway…This is a great lilo bar to kick back and have a heart to heart conversation, play pool, or karaōke night!!! It’s very cozy and quiet, they have a good beer special. One of the Buds of course nothing fancy but it is good.

If you are looking for the classic dive bar this is your spot. This is a Third Ave must! Friendly crowd, great place for Karaōke great bartender. No draft beer though… That’s the only thing I would change. I love stopping by to sing a song and get a beer, I always feel welcome by all the regulars. I have seen people bring pizza over from next door.

Great old school bar that has been updating and changing in the last year. It now has a younger crowd and more up beat feel to the place. The bartenders and management have done a great job. Can’t wait to see what else is in store.

When Ken was the karaōke KJ this place was amazing. The new chick is meh. Not fun. Didn’t stick to a line up. Doesn’t have songs cued for the next singer. Really wish Ken was still here. No real issue with the bartenders.

Pretty sad ken left… He was a big piece of docks. His lively personality was def a big reason to go kick back with some tunes.

Just came in from LA and Docks is usually a MUST! But I found out today that Ken the karaōke host is gone as of recently… Now what? He was the only thing that had that place goin! The bar tender was a little rude but you would stick it out because of how fun karaōke was. Not to mention hilarious! You’d never have a dull moment while Ken was hosting karaōke! Pretty bummed. Looks like I need to find another chill place(and host) to go to.

The only reason we would come here is for the karaōke. Ken(the host) was hilarious and made everyone feel welcomed. They usually have pretty good beer specials, but the mixed drinks are a joke. $ 6 for a thimble-sized weak drink. No thanks. Still, we’ve met some pretty cool people here on karaōke nights that made this little bar a must on weekends. They replaced Ken(the karaōke host) with someone else so it’s pretty lame now. Save your pennies and go down the street to Silver Dollar instead.

Great spot. Friendly bartender. Good drink specials. My only wish is that the Karaōke guy would let everyone else sing and not take any songs for himself.

I came here the night before Father’s Day with a friend. Nice and very friendly staff, good drinks, nice jukebox and there’s karaōke. I think there’s no business anywhere that night. Maybe some people chose to go out on Sunday for Father’s Day. it was dead in the city. so it ‘s unfair to give boring dead review.

If you want to go out to a bar and never be seen by your friends, then docks is your place. Drinks are somewhat cheap on a weekeday. $ 3 pbr. 1 pool table and an older crowd. 45+

Dock’s Rocks on Thursday Nights Come get your karaōke on with a newer crowd we have adopted Docks and kinda took over, Christie is a Bad Ass Bartender and the later it gets the crazier it goes, when the full bar bust out singing Drunken Lullaby it is just a great time all around. come hang out and i will see you there on Thursdays!

This is a great place to bring a group to Karaōke. Even if you don’t sing, you will have one watching and listening to the regulars sing. A diverse mix of people– this isn’t really the place to go if you are looking to hook up and flirt– this is the place to have fun with people who genuinely are just out to have a good time, sing and drink some good drinks. Jason, one of the bartenders, is a master at sweet drinks. He can make birthday cake, chocolate cake, oatmeal cookies– the list goes on! So good if you have an alcoholic sweet tooth. In a good place in Chula Vista– lots of free parking and right across the street from Fuddruckers.

My favorite bar in the South Bay. Not only are the bartenders friendly and awesome(Jason in particular) but they serve up some pretty delicious drinks. Try the Oatmeal Cookie shot or the Chocolate Cake shot, mmm. It’s kind of an older crowd, but for a dive bar that opens at 6am and has police badges plastered all over the walls, what would you expect? Bring some friends and do karaōke or hit the jukebox — both are great options. This is a friendly, fun neighborhood spot that deserves a little more recognition.

One of the oldest dive bars in Chula Vista and they’re open at 6am. Jason our bartender was nice. Not sure what nights they have Karaōke but I know on Thursday’s they have Karaōke starting at 9pm. Really dark and rustic feeling.(I love it!) Great HH prices on beers and the hard liquor was a little too weak for me. Considering though I drink CRWON Royal straight up.

Hubby and I head in here 7 freaking months after our first visit and the bartender freaking remembers us, and what we drink. WHEREDOESTHATHAPPEN? Go have a great cheap drink and sing a song or two with your friends!

I’m big into Karaōke. The KJ is great. Really energetic, and fairly gets you in the queue. Just too many people that night for me. Only sang once in two hours, but met some great people while there. The crowd was around my age(50) and really mellow, energetic, fun, quiet, all at the same time. People even got up and danced. Song book was adequate. No one has«Red Light» by Jonny Lang. And strangly I can never find«Gonna be Startin Somethin» by M Jackson.

My fave Chula Vista dive bar. For those of us who know and love Chula Vista, Dock’s is a really big part of it. I love that they open at 6am, in case you ever feel like you are in Vegas and want to go straight to a bar when you wake up. Their karaōke books are super old school, and could use and update, but I always manage to find something to sing after I have put down a couple whiskey&diets. Typically an older crowd than most bars I frequent, I find it super comforting the second I walk in the door. You don’t have to get all dressed up for Dock’s to love you, they like you just as you are.
