Recently, I had an emergency need on a spa pump. I had never used Rob and his team before, but made a cold call and Rob answered my call. Even though he was at another job site, Rob listened to my situation and made a commitment to come after he completed his job. Rob arrived before his committed time and instantly diagnosed the problem and recommended a solution. He was professional and had a calm knowledgable approach to my situation. His fee was incredibly reasonable for a non-​scheduled emergency situation and I would highly recommend his services to all my family, friends and anyone needing pool service or repair.

Rob and his crew is very thorough and professional! The crew been servicing our pool for the last 3 ½ years. The water stays crystal blue all year round. I’ve been using Eastlake Pools for over 4 years now… and Rob is amazing. Our pool is difficult to keep clean due to its size, but Rob keeps it sparkling blue. He has assisted in some many different types of pool repairs in the past that I don’t know what we would do without him. I can trust that he won’t do unnecessary work and won’t try to take advantage of us… and that is such a great feeling. I can email him with an issue and he’ll come by usually within a few hours to assess and give an estimate… and if possible, he’ll repair it that same day. I highly recommend for anyone who owns a pool!

Rob and his crew are hands down amazing!!! We started using them about 7 months ago for our weekly pool service. We have recently had problems with our skimmer and some water in One of the air lines, after several quotes averaging 2−4k for repairs Rob was able to fix it for FREE!!! I work for Rob as a subcontractor and over the time I have known him, he has been very transparent with the operation of his business, and without hesitation I can say he puts the customer first. Some of the most important things to him are trust, reliability, honesty, consistency, and professionalism which describes him not only in the work place but on a personal level as well. For as many «pool companies» are out there, I consider Rob to have very few actual competitors, the reason why is that companies do not give the amount of importance and care to each individual customer like he does. When doing work for Rob he goes the extra mile to make sure I am well taken care of to ultimately insure the customer has the best experience possible.

This review is for Eastlake Pool Service’s installation chops, not pool maintenance (they just installed my pool equipment, so I have no experience with their maintenance). This is my first pool so I have little basis for comparison, but this was a personal recommendation from a friend of mine, which adds credibility. I’ll try to update the review after a few months of their maintenance service.
Rob (owner) is AWESOME: super chill, down-​to-​earth, approachable, responsive, and patient. (I am NOT easy to work for: I’m picky AND frugal.) Rob and an associate installed all my pool equipment (I bought a foreclosed home; all equipment taken by previous owner). My pool took almost a year to get plastered (plaster guy’s fault), but Rob installed the equipment right away, making several trips without complaint because I didn’t have everything he needed. Then He waited months for the plaster guy to plaster the pool so he could start up the pool, then kept contacting me over the last 2 months so we could get together to set up the pool automation because I was too busy to meet up. He went out of his way to come on a Saturday, so yesterday I finally met him. He was amazingly patient while we struggled to set it up (weak wifi signal), and again while I worked out my wifi issues (I had to reboot my network equipment twice). Once we were connected, everything worked right out of the gate, and now I can control all my pool equipment (pool pump, spa jets, pool/​spa heater, pool/​spa lights, «one touch» macros, etc.) from my iPhone/​iPad (Jandy iAqualink via web and iOS apps) or any web browser! Thank you, Rob!
If you have any issues or problems with Eastlake’s service, call or email Rob, he’ll make it right. (Rob does have employees that help him service the pools.) Rob’s responsiveness and responsibility is uncommon for contractors, period.

I have been using eastlake pools for about 6 – 8 months and I love there service. Rob is kind and respectful in fact he often brings treats for my 2 dogs. He always shows up and the pool looks great, and usually if there is a problem he just fixes it for me. East lake pools saved me from my previous pool guy who didn’t know how to fix anything that was wrong with my pool and just kept dumping chemicals to make it right since then Rob has brought my pool back to life. I could not have a better pool guy.

Great service, reasonable price. Work was done the day as the estimate. Small technical problem was fixed immediately. Added plus, he is a local business not a corporation. Anytime I can help out local business it’s a plus in my book. Overall great experience.

We have been very happy with Eastlake Pool Service. Our initial call was a same day, last minute visit to fix our filter before my daughters birthday. Rob came over on a Saturday afternoon and spend a few hours saving the day for the evening pool party. Since then he has not missed a week and the pool looks better than ever. The owners live in the community and have a reputation for great service.

I had a gardener come to clean up the bank in my backyard. He made such a mess and the pool was loaded with dirt, rocks and weeds. Which clogged the pool sweep and caused it to stop working. Rob came out, found the problem, cleaned up the pool and got everything working again! Thanks Rob, you and Eastlake pool service are the best!!!

We hired Rob to come out and do a pool inspection for a house (Short Sale) we just bought to find out the ground truth for where the condition of the pool is. First, he forgot about the appointment and came after we called to remind him of the appointment. He later came and gave us his opinion of the pool, which he was pretty knowledgeable but a little on the un-​professional side. He quoted prices for repair and really didn’t leave me with a positive impression of owning a pool. He was quick to list the negatives, which I was expecting since the pool is over 15 years old, but all he did was give me the «doom and gloom» news that my pool needs to be replaced, tile was falling off, the pool company that built the pool is out of business (not the case), etc. To top it off, his final written report was about a paragraph of his findings and estimates. Not helpful at all. In his defense, we did not hire him for his pool cleaning service, so I cannot answer how that service is. Based on his inspection, I do not feel he is the guy to earn my business for pool cleaning service. Maybe it was an «off» day for him.

My family has been using Eastlake Pool Service for almost a year now and we could not be more happy and satisfied for the following reasons. First, Rob is a professional, not a «Pool Guy». What that means is he conducts his business with pride, honesty and a second to none level of commitment to the customer. Second, he is a resident of the community with a vested interest in your pool and your family. He knows how his commitment ensures that his customers will be happy to see him out and about at the grocery store or in their backyard taking care of their pool. Rob is also very upfront and competitive on all his services and products. He will insure your happiness over his profit. Lastly, our family has been through more «pool guys» in the past 9 years than I would like to remember. Rob is the first «Pool Professional» I have met. PROFESSIONAL ALL THE WAY AROUND!
I contacted Eastlake Pool Service when our pool had gotten way out of hand (green with living bugs) and our previous pool company failed to return my calls. My late afternoon call was answered promptly and courteously; I explained the problem and was given some ideas about what could be needed, we made and appointment for the next morning.
The technician arrived promptly, well groomed and examined the pool and equipment then made his prognosis and explained how to remedy the problem. The technician treated the pool and the pool was looking great in less than an hour. I followed the instructions given to me and was told to expect a follow up in 4 days.
Based on the customer service I received from this company, the ability to correctly address the problem, and the manner in which it was done I give this company 5 out of 5!
