I called ahead to check if this location had a game I wanted. I was told by the associate that they had one more left. I arrived 15 minutes later, and the one employee was helping a lady at the counter. I stood in line for 20 minutes behind this woman, and I was not acknowledged once by the employee. Meanwhile, a line started to form behind me. The one employee said not a word to any of us, and continued to help the woman. «Do you want insurance with that? Its only $ 3. We have a deal if you buy one more you can receive 2 for free. I can give you a refund in 5 dollar bills…» etc. etc. I finally stepped up to the counter and the game that she found minutes ago on the phone took her 5 minutes to find by searching around the small store. There is a lot I could have forgiven if the employee merely said, «Good afternoon. I’ll be with you as soon as I can,» and continued helping that woman. I understand that the employee is probably a 17-year-old who doesn’t have enough training on customer service. But this a direct reflection on the training practices and business decisions of the administration of this store. Will not return here.

I like this location because it is really close to my home. I’ve noticed, however, that because it is a smaller location compared to others, that their selection takes a hit. Specifically the PS3 section. I wouldn’t come here looking for PC games. After 15 minutes of scanning around the store I concluded that they probably just don’t have a PC section and that’s a little disappointing. Xbox One and PS4 sections seem to be fully stocked though. The customer service isn’t the best I’ve ever had at a GameStop before. Some of these associates seem to be having a hard day every time I go in there. I was shopping for a mic headset one afternoon and when I asked the associate his opinion on which was best he exclaimed«None. They don’t even have in-game volume.» That would be great info if «in-game» volume was what I was looking for but that’s where his service ended. I would’ve pursued more info but he seemed rather bothered by my question so I ended up going with my gut. No big deal though. Also, if an associate is really into a conversation he’s having with a customer or another employee than expect to wait until they’re done to have your stuff rung up. Whenever I go in there I’m not really in a hurry so it’s not a big problem for me but to some it might be. Expect to play a game of 20 questions at the register. They usually always have some kind of deal they’re promoting whether it’s they’re credit card service or rewards card or upgrade to their rewards card. I understand they have to upsell but the amount of questions they ask you is comical sometimes. Go see for yourself! I’m not exaggerating. Sometimes you can see their discomfort when asking and that consequently makes me a little uncomfortable. There’s times where they just try and get through the questions and other times where they legitimately try and explain every offer and why you should go for it. I prefer the former to be honest. Not all the service is average though. Before I preordered Alien: Isolation in October I called to see how the preordering thing works and the man on the phone was very informative and helpful up to the point of me picking up my order. I wish I remembered his name because his service was excellent. Selection and service is what costs this location two stars. I’ll probably still come to here when shopping around but I know what to expect.

Mad props to this store! I preordered Assassin’s Creed 3 from them so I could get the sawtooth sword and the insert was missing from my copy. I just called in and the person I spoke with(I wish I remembered her name) got me a code over the phone! Try that with Best Buy! I’m pretty the person would end up laughing you off the phone. Great customer service!!!

I pretty much think every Gamestop is the same and don’t really feel they need to be reviewed on Unilocal but this one forgot to give me two games and that’s just unacceptable. If I’m paying over a $ 100 dollars I want my games. If you go there make sure they actually put your games in the box.

One of their smaller stores — feels kind of crammed honestly. This one is located in the Terra Nova Plaza which is great because of all the neighboring stores: Caffe Tazza, Robeks, Jack In The Box, I believe it’s a Shell gas station, I don’t recall, but in any case, it’s in a great location.
