Highway Inn Motel

Wow. This is place is horrible. Drug dealers outside, management seems to not even care. the place was dirty and seemed like it was gonna fall apart. Oh and the price was ridiculous. horrible place 0 stars if I could

Do not stay here! I live in Los Angeles and had a driving event in San Diego fit the weekend. I figured all I needed was a hot shower and a bed for the night so I went with the cheapest place I could find, 50 bucks a night. I wish I would have just spent an extra 20 – 30 dollars on a better place to stay. The place is filthy! The carpet was so gross I dare not walk barefoot inside. There was a burn hole in my bedding, and I don’t think it was propperly cleaned because I found hairs an fibers all over the bed and one of the pillows; I ended up sleeping on top of the blankets instead of in them. The neighborhood is sketchy, there is grafitti all over the place. In the end it did give me a hot shower and bed, which is what I needed, but I wil not be going back.

Stayed at this place for Comic-​Con with a couple friends after one of them booked at the last minute.
Our room was okay, but I’m glad I was the one who slept on an air mattress with my own blankets. The A/​C smelled funky, but it kept the room frigid. A few ladies of the night hung around the back parking lot.
The only real convenience was the Circle K across the street.
