Keller Williams – Chula Vista

Keller Williams Chula Vista is a great brokerage. My husband and I are agents out of this office and receive a lot of support from the staff and owners of this company. Anytime we’ve ever had a suggestion or idea to better improve the brokerage, the staff and owners are very open minded.
Our coach Laney is phenomenal. She really helps take your business to the next level.
The staff say over and over how «agent-​centric» they are. They provide training and technology all to support their agents.
We feel so much support here that we decided to give back and asked the staff and owners if we can start a coaching program in the office to help new agents … of course they said yes because they are awesome, growth minded and so open to new ideas!
If you are an agent interested in this brokerage, I highly recommend just checking it out… We have tripled our production since we’ve been here!

I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with MIKE WATSON and his handling of our short sale. He holds himself out to be a short sale expert. The first time we met him, he gave us a nice little powerpoint presentation on short sales but as we got into the process with him, it became clear that he knows nothing about short sales and real estate transactions in general. He is unethical and should have his license revoked. He informed us that it was perfectly okay to negotiate with the buyers for furnishings and pursuant to this advise, we negotiated with the buyers to sell them several items. On the day escrow closed, the buyers agent, not my agent, informed me that for short sales, this type of transaction is not allowed. She told me that she had informed MIKE WATSON of this but his response was «I am not going to tell them, you tell them». Unbelievable. And then he had the nerve to ask me for a transaction coordinator fee.
He never had our best interests at heart. He was lazy and did not advocate for us like he should have.
Mike Watson had such a small part in the process, as most seller’s agents do in a short sale. A third party did all the negotiations with the bank on our behalf. Mike Watson was pretty much just a liaison between us and the negotiator and he couldn’t even get that right. He failed to follow up with the negotiator and our deal ended up falling through. Eventually another negotiator took it over and everything finally worked out.
If you are looking for a short sale agent, make sure you do your homework and be sure to ask for references so you don’t end up with an incompetent agent like we did in MIKE WATSON.
Any agency that hires incompetent agents like MIKE WATSON deserves a low rating.
