Last July I decided to learn a martial art as a way to get in shape. I was afraid that at 34 I was a bit old to take up learning kung fu, but I went ahead anyway. Here I am, eight months down the road, and I’m thankful that I made the phone call. Not only am I noticing a difference in my fitness level, but old injuries are giving me far fewer problems. My confidence is higher, my focus is greater, and I’ve found a wonderful, caring family in San Soo. Is it a lot of work? Oh yeah. Is it worth it? Without a doubt.
