I am tired of this place, as some of the other reviewers say, there is not that many healthy choices here in eastlake. The staff at this location is HORRIBLE, they do not care about the customers, every time I order food, if I am in a rush and I forget to check my order at the register, I get home and something is missing, for instance, this evening my husband my children and I were sitting in front of 4 mediterranean chicken salads, NODRESSINGANDNOBREAD, it has happened like 20 times to us already. Another issued is the quantity of food per dish has been steadily getting SMALLERANDSMALLER, they figure different ways to cut the chicken, or shred it, they do different things to give you less, don’t they think we notice this??? ENOUGHISENOUGH, there is a bunch of young stupid kids working at this restaurant and they frankly do not care about any of the customers needs or wants. They are just talking and laughing at the register, they do not even greet you, do your order wrong and the place is DIRTY!!! That is what you get for minimum wage, I did not mind paying higher for good quality, UNFORTUNATELY the lack of customer service, and the lack of knowledge to handle food will force us to stop being their customers.

Unfortunately this is the nearest Luna Grill to us. We go sometimes only for the convenience otherwise we have to go to rancho SD or hillcrest and even mission valley for the true experience and taste. This location is hit and miss, we go to Luna at least 3 – 4 times a month because the food is delicious and REAL. But eastlake location you will find that their dishes are always dirty, look at the bottom of your plates when they hand them to you. We even started ordering the food to go and eating it because of it. The food is hit and miss sometimes it’s over cooked or no flavor. My last experience I ordered a salad and got a pickle in it? I can go on and on but I really do like the staff. The manager was very kind to comp our meal. So 2 stars for the staff but the food/cleanliness is not up to par. Go to this place only if its convenient but go to rancho SD or mission valley for the true experience of Luna Grill.

We have been eating in ordering take out from this place for some time. It is shocking to note that this establishment is gouging the neighborhood just because there’s no other healthy choice. Daily the quantity of meat and salad is dwindling rapidly. They in fact gave one slice of tomato, one slice of cucumber, and three rings of onion as the salad. Stay away! Total rip off!!!

This place is horrible! I came in at 2:30pm and the place was dead and I was the only new customer. I’m still waiting for my food and I inly ordered a salad and it’s been a long time, my food still hadn’t come out. They were serving their employees first who were seated instead of their customers! I seriously want to cancel my order and get a refund and go somewhere else! I even asked someone for my food and didn’t tell me anything! Bad service!!!

I placed a simple order(chicken kabob meal) to go and went to run errands. I came back 25 minutes later and I panicked because I thought I had taken way too long. So I run up to the register and apologize if I was late. The girl mentioned that my food wasn’t ready yet. I was surprised but I stood there and waited. 10 minutes go by and I’m growing very frustrated– and it’s clear– I’m purposely putting on an RBF(resting bitch face). It must have been obvious because the manager asked me if I had paid cash or card, I responded card and asked for it. To my surprised she refunded me my meal. She said no one should have to wait this long for food. She didn’t have to do that, but she did. It wasn’t even the $ 12 but it was the simple fact that she recognized they were in the wrong. That small gesture win me over to make sure I give them another chance.

Just had an AWESOME lunch here with the hubs yesterday! This place serves up some seriously delicious food! We tried a spicy cilantro hummus appetizer to start. The hummus was absolutely delicious! Perfect texture and very flavorful. The pita, though? I need to find out what brand they’re using because it was seriously on point! For $ 4.50 it was a tasty bargain! I had a chicken kabob plate with rice and salad. The salad was really fres h and the dressing was light and tasty. The rice was cooked just right and the chicken was PERFECT. It was tender, juicy and seasoned really nicely. The same went for my husband’s gyro plate. One added thing that I really liked about our dishes was that we got a choice between carrots and tomatoes. Seems kind of an odd option, but since I don’t like raw tomatoes and the hubs doesn’t like raw carrots much, it worked out well. The large portions on the plates were alsoan unexpected bonus, so we know not to overdo it with an appetizer every time. Another option I really appreciated was the Vitaminwater in the drink fountain. I try not to drink too much soda, so I loved that there was something besides soda in the machine. It was also nice to see they offer a couple of beers and wines for when you’re in the mood for a tasty libation. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was pretty good. Ordering was quick and the staff was helpful. There were no clean tables but the staff cleaned one off when I asked for it. The food here is really good. I got a chicken plate with rice and a salad. Very flavorful.

We came here twice before writing a review. The only reason we came here in the first place is because we had a gift card, otherwise it just seems to over priced for what it is. Both times we came we both ordered the flat cut kabob plate and it was so good!!! Comes with rice, pita and a salad. I still don’t think it should be $ 11.50 a plate though. Only 4 stars because it’s over priced and food takes about 15 minutes to come out and it’s not a sit down restaurant it’s panera bread style dining.

First time at Luna Grill. My Falafel and Chicken and Sirloin plate were filling, service was off kilter. Never received any eye contact or spoken directly to at the register, the cashier was consistently looking past me. A female server came by appeared rushed to deliver my falafels. Just wanted to mention, there were four other parties in the restaurant other than myself. They weren’t exactly busy. After finishing my falafel plate, a rushed female server came by to deliver my Chicken and Sirloin plate but didn’t take my empty falafel plate. Weird. I would’ve given my review a two, but then a male server came by, asked me how my food and day was a chimed in that I should’ve said awesome rather than good. He also asked if I would like more dressing for my salad and tzatziki sauce and took my empty falafel plate. He did everything for me that the rushed female server should’ve done. His service made me feel a lot better about my visit, and then that cashier with no eye contact rushed by my table and told that she never gave me my receipt. FACEPALM. So food, yes. Service, could be a lot better and more personable by slowing down and giving looking directly at the person you’re taking the order from. There’s a difference between quick service and fast but efficient service.

Poor customer service delivered by Paige at the register. Service with a side of attitude. Food also took 20 minutes to come out.

Luna grill is nice, it is a little expensive for essentially better quality fast food. I’m not a huge fan of restaurants where you order at the counter and get your own drinks, but pay as much as a full-service restaurant. One nice thing is they have a good selection of healthy options. Our food was good, the staff was friendly enough, but it was not like whoa this place is great or anything. I would go back, but I won’t be a regular. The area is nice too, lot’s to do around here, it’s near ORM, Olympic training center, and all kinds of other shopping. If you are in the area and you don’t mind paying restaurant prices at a self-service restaurant stop in because the food was good.

I’ve been here several times and have had a good experience each time. The food is really good. My favorites are the gyro plate, gyro and definitely the lemon chicken soup. The food lags sometimes, but I’m not usually in a rush and they are a fast casual restaurant so I’m OK with my food not sitting«back stage» waiting for me to come in then coming out in 2 mins after I order. I’d drive 20 mins over here to eat the soup. :) Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Sometimes really really crowded. Which just says to me that they are consistently good… A definite plus!

I’ve been to this location a few times. I do not recommend phoning ahead for take out. I’ve done that twice and twice my order has been wrong. The service here isn’t so great, falafels were burnt, no tahini sauce and ordered lemon rice soup, got lentil instead. Also staff in a relationship should probably save their kisses for the break room and not at the register. I’d usually overlook such things if not for the mess ups with my food. I’ll be back to Luna Grill but will stick to the Mission Valley/Fenton location by my work.

Was grabbing a late lunch and stopped by this Luna grill that I have never been to. Walking thru the door, I knew there was a issue. Everybody in the place had shiny look on their face. Because the AC was not working properly. It was 90+ outside and inside felt the same way. I am confused, if your AC is broken. There was a few stores in walking distance to go purchase a few large fans to cool off the place. The AC was only the beginning. The food was not warm or hot. It was barley warm and the salad that suppose to be cold, was warm. This was the worst experience I had a Luna grill. I will never go to this location again. Bad management.

I like this place. Their portions are pretty big and the taste is very consistent. I like their chicken kabob, Mediterranean chicken salad, and pistachio bite size delicious dessert. I always get extra vinaigrette and lemon and pour it over the feta fries, yummy! This place is clean and the staff if friendly. They seem to be active and ready to serve. Good place.

I’ve only ordered take-out salads so far, and they’ve been pretty good — hefty portions and fresh. The Mediterranean Chicken Salad is good, but not as heavy on vegetables as I normally expect in my salads. The rest of the salads are light and tasty… you know, like a salad. Parking is plentiful in this large shopping plaza. Staff are amazingly happy and friendly, especially Marisela! Place is a little small, but they make good use of the space. Not a place I would normally think of for happy hour, but they have some pretty cheap drink specials! I haven’t tried their catering again, but the manager did contact me and offer to make it up to me. In interest of full disclosure, they did offer me a free meal to give them another chance, and I got to pick up the rest of my order that was previously omitted from the catering order. I still don’t think I’d do another catering order here, but ordering regular take-out has been good so far!

Typical things for a restaurant — really nothing bad about this place. It’s clean, the food is good, the customer service is good. But, geez, the prices are way too high. And there stingy when it comes to extras, I.e. If you use a coupon, they give you a look or have some rule about when you can or can’t use it. Also their rewards system sucks and is way too complicated. Just don’t like places where you always feel you are nickeled and dimed. This is that place.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered the chipotle cilantro hummus as a started and the salmon plate for my meal. The hummus was very flavorful and a great compliment to both the bread that was given and later on my rice and fish from my entrée. The salmon had a crispy seared outer and a flaky moist center w/a magnificent cucumber tzatziki dipping sauce, and was plated with white rice and a fresh green garden salad with a tasty vinaigrette. Fresh, fast, and instantly on my best of the best list for quick service lunches.

Luna Grill may be known for their kebabs and such, but during this visit, I befriended their Mediterranean Chicken Salad with Israeli Couscous for $ 10( ), and since it was Sunday, all their appetizers were $ 1 off, so I ordered their Falafels topped with tahini, with their«new» recipe at $ 3( ). The Falafels were a little different from the ones I have had before, from another location, but they were just okay. The came with a deep dark brown color and topped with a pretty good tasty tahini sauce.( ) The inside had a subtle garlic flavor, but they were a little dense and needed seasoning.( ) I liked the garnish of sliced pickles and tomatoes. The Mediterranean Salad was great. You can get it with or without chicken for a lower price. I got it with chicken and it came filled with tender white well grilled juicy pieces, not to mention their good flavor.( ) I was especially fond of the the Israeli couscous. It was smooth, silky, and popped in the mouth texturally and with very good flavor.( ) All the greens of the salad were very good, and the feta that came along with the salad added a nice salty element. The salad came with three warm slices of pita bread and they were very nice to have with the salad.( ) Service was good and my food arrived at my table in a timely manner.
