Nuyo Frozen Yogurt

Got the worst service ever today from Daniela. I will never come back. It seems like the girl at counter got upset because I used coupons. Well they have them for a reason. Also when I gave them my card for my points the girl said it «didn’t work» what a coincidence. It’s like I got punished for wanting to save a dime.

So, the first thing I noticed is that the interior design is horrible, at least in my eyes. It’s also not on the clean side. Next thing I noticed is the lack of flavors compared to other places like Yogurtland. If you like plain, NuYo isn’t the best, good, but not as good as Yogurtland’s (if you’re a fan of Yogurtland, because I am). The strawberry was good and chocolate milkshake was ok too. I do like how the sample cups are in one area where the customers can use. There were also quite a lot of people at the time I went. Probably wouldn’t come here again, would go to Yogurtland even though it is like 30 minutes away.

Clean, busy place! I would not say it is inexpensive as you pay by the ounce, but they do have a frequent card program. It is nice that you can taste before you purchase so you don’t mistakenly layer incompatible flavors. The flavors are generally good as tart plain yogurt, vanilla and chocolate are always on tap along with other offerings.
The topping bar is always clean and fresh looking with fruits, chopped nuts, sprinkles, crushed cookies, brownies, cereal as well as a variety of syrups. The blackberries, kiwi and strawberries are always fresh and tart. They have music and videos playing and additional seating outside. Late hours during the summer and fall roasting weather!

Serve yourself as much or as little as you wish and top it off with whatever you want from tiny cheesecake bites to fresh never frozen fruit then drizzle with your favorite syrup. Simple, delicious, and affordable.

Hours of operation are incorrect! Came at 10:15pm thinking it closed at 11. Need to correct this!

Meh… not a fan not good go to Fuji if you can.

This place has been a staple of healthy sweet tooth goodness. Even better when they had fast WiFi. Last couple times I went it was down though, not sure if that’s still the case. Alternating flavors spice things up, usually fat free

The service there is terrible. And they haven’t changed any flavors in a while & the employees are always on there phone !

I enjoy coming into Nuyo! They have the best yogurt. I will drive 15 miles to get this yogurt ! It’s flavorful and the toppings are always fresh and fun. I highly recommend their strawberry frozen yogurt :) my favorite!

Not the best flavors compared to the one on Telegraph but the service is awesome and very clean. They have great toppings but I have a huge issue with the flavors.

Came to get a little treat and ended up more disappointed than if we didn’t get anything at all. Four out of the ten flavors either weren’t working or were out and all the stations were filthy and had used sample cups all over them. After finally choosing one of the limited flavors they had, we went to add our toppings, just to find that all the «fresh» fruit was anything but. The mangos were almost empty and what was there was smashed and the strawberries were browning. We asked if they had any more, and not to our surprise we were ignored and had to ask again… to finally get nothing more than a «no.» Maybe next time she should make sure there isn’t a full container of fresh, uncut, mangos right behind her. Usually this place is fine but today wasn’t one of those days.

I’ve made excuses to my husband to go here, I love it. They have a ton of toppings and there’s a decent selection of flavors. You can get a free frequent buyers card & after you use it enough you get a free item! My only issues with the place is that it’s a bit pricey for what you get & the employees usually seem to be in their own world & not always paying attention or not in the front of the store at all.
Overall, it’s a nice place to come when you need a treat :)

Big disappointment and very bad experience the non dairy option does contain milk!!! My son suffers from milk and eggs allergies thought this place was great and my second time going he ended up at the hospital. I even ask the girl at the counter and she said no it’s non dairy. Trusted the non dairy sign. Different flavor for the non dairy option but please don’t trust the sign!!! Especially for people with dairy allergy!!! Also something that I disliked was that the nuts are in the middle of mostly all the options in my opinion it should be farther in the end for the fact that there’s many people that have severe allergies to peanuts and nuts! Yes I am that mom! For the fact that I have witness a kid dying because of eating a peanut on accident! I would hope that they would rearrange them… I would hate for anything to be contaminated with any nuts in any other toppings… but other than that great spot if they were to be honest with their signs and have all the ingredient.

My girls love it here. I’m more a Baskin Robbins guy, but what my girls want they get. First I really like the set up & the different flavors they have & all there toppings are good & it’s always clean in here. And the workers are nice EXCEPT when you ask them to slice up banana slices. They don’t have it in the topping section & I don’t know why, they should. I almost feel like I’m bothering them when I ask for banana slices, & usually they look a little annoyed when I ask but I can’t really blame them cuz they should be sliced already, don’t know why there not. Love that they have chamoy & condensed milk! It’s a little pricy so be careful with the portions. But over all it’s good here I’ll come back for my girls… but I’ll probably bring my own banana next time…

I enjoy the variety of flavors offered here, the atmosphere, and especially how there are sample cups right by the flavors! That is perfect. The reason I am giving a 3 is due to:
Why in the world are there no sliced bananas available as a topping? I see bananas behind the register, yet that is awkward how they are not available as a topping already pre sliced (as every single yogurt shop) I assume I just have to ask an employee to cut them as a topping? I am not sure, I have not asked as there is usually a line and I feel that would be almost embarrassing to have someone hold up the line so I can get bananas on my frozen yogurt. Also, if an employee was to slice a banana for me. how much would I be allowed to get as a topping? It is odd and should be added to the toppings area.
Also…the price! Yogurtland has cheaper prices and offers a lot more! Yogurt in general is fairly cheap, I just don’t see why this location feels the need to be at the price it is? It is always busy in here anyhow.

So when I came in to this place, there was a cardigan’s video playing. Since I’m old, I think that was good.
I got strawberry, and tried the cheesecake, but didn’t like it. My strawberry was good, but my wife said my concoction looked like a little girl put it together. I did put sprinkles on it, so I guess I had it coming…
This was more tart than the other places I’ve been to; I like it, but heads up.

If you’re not familiar with NuYo, it’s a self serve frozen yogurt spot. You choose from several soft serve frozen yogurt flavors, then head to the toppings bar. Price is by wt per oz.
Anyways, a very clean NuYo branch, I was impressed about that. Nothing out of place. There are little cups available right by the dispensers, we can use to sample the different frozen yogurt flavors. Its been a looooooong time since I’ve been to a NuYo, so I sampled a few flavors. Honestly, I got my fix just from sampling (but I went there for my daughter anyways)… The texture of the yogurt is so creamy, it’ll have you fooled! Delicious… Every flavor I tasted was pretty good, but peanut butter was the best in my opinion! I also like how the nutritional info is shown for each flavor… My daughter enjoyed a small serving of their vanilla with some jelly balls, cherries, and sprinkles. (Her creation, not mine!)
We will definitely be back!

Nuyo originally started as Pure Yogurt, but even with its name change, the yogurt has maintained it’s tastiness.
They usually have a decent selection of tart and creamy yogurts. It always blows my mind every time I go and I see people shying away from the TART! (Insert sour face)
I don’t think people realize that tart is AMAZING with fresh fruit! When Nuyo first opened, we were ecstatic because at the time there was no Pinkberry or nearby and we were dying for some plain tart and fresh fruits!
Anyway, THANK YOU MGMT for finally changing your SAMPLE CUP policy!!! Before, an employee had to walk over and personally serve you a sample of whatever flavor you wanted. I thought this old policy made it the experience of trying new flavors less fun. But now, they have a stack of sample cups waiting for you to try EVERYTHING! Yay!

Such a great grab n’ go FroYo spot when you’re south.
It’s pretty small compared to the larger chains like YogurtLand, but has more selection than Pinkberry. I really like it. So far I have become a fan of their strawberry and plain tart flavors. Their toppings are also very fresh and much better than YogurtLand in my opinion. Only thing is that they are pretty pricey at $.42 an ounce.
