Official Brake & Lights Inspection Center

This place is a joke. I came in to do a brake and light inspection. It took 3 hours to do. It failed, they told me what to fix and to come back. I get the parts fixed, go back and they have no certificates to issue. How do you run a business? If you want to waste your time and money go to this place. If you want to save money and time go to 905 smog and auto repair. I had to pay again, but at least they know how to run a business.

Bought my car in for light/​brake inspection and smog. My light and brakes failed no big deal, just a dead fog light, got it fixed. A few days later I was driving through a very dark zone so I tried my brights and guess what?! No bright lights! How did my car pass light inspection without bright lights? Not sure. It was just dead bulb so no big deal but really, if that’s what I took it in for in the first place. Maybe he was just in a hurry. Well not really because it did take him 2 whole hours!

Worst inspection shop ive been to. The technician is a lazy «taking his sweet time» mexican guy who takes a rest after each wheel he takes off the car so just imagine how long it will take for him to check the brakes on all 4 sides. He will look for every little problem related to the brake and light and will not certify the car because he does not care if the vehicle passes the inspection coz he will charge you the steep $ 70 regardless. It took me waiting about an hour and a half for his inspection and finding out that the vehicle failed then when a came back for another inspection he tells me that i should come back over a week from that day coz he’s real busy and i shouldve called for an appointment because i have already paid on the first visit so its just a free retest so he would not accomodate me. I went to another inspection place and i didnt care if i would pay again and the shop that i went to took about 15 minutes to inspect the car and gave me a certificate and had awesome customer service. This inspection shop on broadway really gives mexican shops a bad reputation and BAR should take away their inspection license.
