I’ve been looking for a good pizza place in the area and I think I found my regular spot! I love crunchy thin crust pizzas, so that’s my favourite part about Pizzos. That and they serve my absolute favourite pizza, the Capriciossa! It has mozzarella, prosciutto, artichokes and olives. I’ll be honest and say I grew up eating pizzas in Naples, so I know a thing or two about what I like on my pizza. I find they put basil on a lot of items. Pizzos puts chopped basil on their Capriciossa which I kinda don’t like. They even put it on the bread slices. If you like basil, then go for it. They also serve pastas, if pizza isn’t your thing. I’ve only been here a few times so I’ll be working my way around the menu until I try everything!

Excellent food with excellent customer service! The food tastes fresh and everything we ordered was delicious! My friends threw me a baby sprinkle here for baby #2, and the owner was so accommodating and allowed them to hang up décor. I highly suggest this place!

Love the food here. Place is pretty popular & probably needs an expansion soon. Staff couldn’t really keep up with the demand when we dined here as service was slow. Not too much to complain about as they were friendly and food was exceptional. What I ate: My fave. the blue cheese buffalo bites Chicken Alfredo

A cute, quaint local place with great pizza and wine! I love the«basic» salad as well. It’s fresh, with wonderful dressing. I’d get there early! It’s so fantastic, tables fill up quickly. I hope Pizzo’s continues to do well, we love to support our local businesses.

This place is amazing! It is up to par with any pizza I have had in Naples, customer service is on point, and Santino, the owner is on the cutting edge of culinary genius. BRAVO! I could eat here 7 days a week.

This is some of the best pizza you will ever eat. If you are used to that crap from the national pizza chains, you may not be able to recognize good quality pizza(but that’s your problem). The large pizzas are not that large, so err on the side of ordering more. If you dine in, do not go with a large group(more than four) as there is not enough seating. Please do not take up all the chairs in the restaurant with your herd. Some good beers and wines available! Best to carry out the pizza if you order on the phone. If you’re too lazy to go get your own pizza, don’t complain about the wait time. Good things take time.

So delicious! Had the thin crust pizza and an antipasto salad! Best antipasto salad I’ve ever eaten! Generous portions! Love the atmosphere. The waiter, I believe his name was Ignacio was so pleasant:) we will definitely be back! All the cooks waved goodbye to us as we were leaving!

This was my 1st time dining in the restaurant. It’s a small cozy neighborhood venue with very friendly service. They have some mid week coupons in the buy one get one magazine that basically make your salad or glass of wine practically free. So my verdict is that I would now return to dine in the restaurant on their 00 flour Neopolitan pizzas. Absolutely delicious. We took a friend who had never eaten any of their pizzas so felt we had to let her try the Americano style too. The crust still has far too much sugar as I noted in my last review. For this reason, I’m off the Americano even though I like that it is loaded with cheese. Next time I might make my own and ask for some of the Americano toppings on the Neopolitan… gasp sacrilege!

Saw this place on Unilocal and thought we’d give it a try. As of right now really disappointed with our FIRSTORDER. Called to check on delivery status and they said was taking over a 1 hour 30 mins, but was originally quoted 45mins — less than an hour. The extra 45 mins or so makes a difference when your family is starving, so make sure you order way in advance. Ordered 2 pizzas, 1 salad and 6 wings. Will update if the food ever makes it… Ok it was finally delivered and was about 48 mins late. When I called the third time to check on order, staff didn’t seem to care and said that’s the norm for delivery time and I was quoted incorrectly, but it’s on its way. We don’t live that far from this place, but read that it can get a little tight when busy and didn’t want to chance not having any seating with family of five. Neapolitan Classic pizza was good. The other pizza was OK. It was regular pizza with sausage, pepperoni and Canadian bacon. Hot wings were average. Basic salad was good. Overall it was good, but delivery time was way off. If delivery was on time, might have been more stars. Not sure if we will ever order from here again, but nice to know we have a pizza for free for the extra delivery wait.

One word: WOW! Not only is the food spectacular, so is the staff who works there. My husband and I have come in several times and we are never disappointed. When we came in with our two year old, the waitress brought her some raw pizza dough to play with. She had a blast! They are extremely attentive to their patrons and the place in nice and cozy. Usually Eastlake only has chain restaurants or these little hole in the wall places that are sort of gross, this place is fantastic! I wish it were a little larger though only because it gets a little tight in there. I love to get the caprese salad, the Rolling Hills pizza and a glass of wine. Highly recommend it to anyone who lives out here and wants amazing food!

Not the kind of pizza I expected from Pizzos. Just look at the photo. $ 5 Little Caesars tasted even better. Delivery also took more than an hour and we are just 5 minutes away. Never again!

Wow! What an amazing surprise!!! Pizzo’s was great, from the hostess, Valeria, to Cosmo, absolutely best server in town… so friendly & passionate about his service to us! Santino, the owner, working so hard making sure the food was made to perfection. He made the time to come out and greet our table. Family feeling when you walk in, the Prado’s and Capuno’s of Rolling Hills will definitely be regulars at Pizzo’s! Thank you, Santino and family!

This place is perhaps Eastlake quickest spreading secret spot. The secret was shared a couple of years ago(thanks Asia!!), and sadly as Eastlske snd Otay Ranch have grown in popularity… so has this amazing place! This place kicks ass all over the board. Sure it can get busy(its popular for a reason), sure it can get tight(it was once a secret spot)… The pizzas are amazing… The Gorgonzola Chicken Wings kicks ass, the Cesar Salad is amazing… Love this place!

Mmmmmmmmmmmm yes please! We usually order takeout from here. I will warn you, the delivery does take a WHILE to get there but I’m told it’s because they make everything fresh? It certainly tastes so! We usually order a Bocce Ball Pizza(I always add pesto to mine, it adds such a delicious kick to it) and the Margarita Pizza. Once I ordered a Caesar Salad. It wasn’t worth it at allllll. However, both the pizzas are soo good and so fresh tasting. Even the crust is yummy and delicious. I would highly recommend trying out this hidden gem!

First time and impressed… even though we sat outside and it was cold… So! At the recommendation of a friend, we stopped in after a long day and the wait was fairly long… the place was packed. Had some Sangria while I waited and I was totally cool with the wait as I enjoyed my delicious beverage. We sat outside to wait –luckily they had the outdoor heaters so we didn’t freeze and our drinks were great in assisting in the warming department. Thought about taking the food to go and ended up with a table(lucked out). The food was delicious! We enjoyed dishes such as the spaghetti and meatballs, the pesto cream pasta, fettucine alfredo and pizza… the place did not disappoint. Although the location was small, I didn’t feel crowded and the atmosphere added to what you’d expect out of an Italian type restaurant. I loved it, and look forward to future visits for the food and that Sangria!

This is an awesome addition to the Eastlake area. Located in what I sadly think if as the Ghost Mall(The Shops at San Miguel) I’m really praying that along with Goody’s Sushi, Pizzo’s can transform this rather empty shopping center into a community hub. If the crowd and wait was any indication then I think there is hope. Service is super attentive in a busy setting and always with a cheerful attitude. Prices are $ to $$ for some of the large pizzas and pasta dishes. Booze. I’m not a big wine drinker but they have a lot. Several beers on tap featuring local Bonita crafts. The pizzas are the stars of course and they are excellently done. They do both Neopalitan thin crust and traditional«American.» We have tried the thin crust Bocce Ball which is basically a Margherita pizza plus spinach and meatball. Really yummy and one kid even stopped ratchet cheese pizza to eat two of the Bocce Ball. That’s one way to get them to eat spinach! We have also ordered their traditional meat pizza called the Carne. Pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, Canadian bacon, and meatball. I was amazed that there was no giant pool of grease like you get with other pizza places. No dabbing with napkins here! I’m very excited to have Pizzo’s here and look forward to trying the rest of the menu.

Ugh, hate to do this. Needs to be done though. Cane in at 4pm on Sunday. 5 – 8 people in the restaurant. service at the desk — OK. I walk in and the only menu is the same menu they had when they opened — 8 or 9 pizzas and 4 salads. OK, I want other things like pasta and appetizers. I ask and the guy says, the full menu starts at 5pm. Umm, you’ve got to be kidding. This is a joke, right? 4pm on a Sunday and I cant get pasta or wings? and I’m ordering off the same flimsy piece of paper you had the week you opened? OK, that drops them a star or two. Fine, I’ll get the Chula Vista renowned 00 dough classic pizza — two of them actually, one was the marguerite, the other had sausage, meatball, and mushroom. Come back in 15 minutes, he says. Come back in 20 minutes, not ready, wait another 10 minutes. No problem. Right out of the over to the car sear, drive home 8 minutes, on a plate to our mouths. WORST pizzas we’ve had since we cant remember. Crust was horrible — seems to be old — extremely chewy and some areas inedible since they were so tough. My wife told me that Pizza Hut’s new crust is better(ouch!!). Toppings were ok but a bit sparse. Cheese was not good on either pizza, seemed old. Complete shock to us, as we thought this was the Cadillac of pizzas. Guess not, anymore(???). Extremely disappointed, to say the least. The menu thing(after 5pm for full menu) is absolutely absurd(especially on weekends). However, there is no excuse for the horrible pizza. Completely unacceptable for the prices they charge and will be a HUGE hit to their reputation.

La mejor pizza. Por mucho. Classic Italian. Add Serrano Peppers. Es mi favorita. Con ensalada César. Y cerveza Blue Moon. Se los recomiendo.
