Cassandra is the best! I previously went else where to get my hair dyed blonde and it came out orange! Went to Cassandra and and she fixed my hair and gave me good tips! You cannot even see any of the orange anymore and my hair is not damaged at all which surprised me considering when people usually lighten their hair it gets damaged but my hair is actually in better condition than it was before. She uses the best products on my hair and i am very happy with the turn out! I will definitely come back here and see her! Thank you so much Cassandra you’re amazing! You truly have a talent!

Really friendly environment, the manager helped me set up a consultation and was really helpful. My hairstylist was Brooke an she did an amazing job. I had dark brown hair and she was able to get me the blonde hair I wanted, I cannot stress how happy I am with my results enough. I definitely recommend her and will be going back!

Andrea was great! She took care of me and did an awesome job on my hair. Everyone loves it! Definitely my hair salon from now on.

This is my 2^nd time going to Cassandra, and I love how my hair comes out. I always get compliments from people of how good my hair color looks. She’s very friendly and does my hair in a timely manner. I totally recommend CASSANDRA to do your hair.

I’m so excited and feeling blessed I found an AMAZING hair stylist today @ Rico’s on 3^rd Salon! My stylist Cassandra put the best blend of highlights ever on my hair today! It totally compliments my skin tone and outlines my face… She also fixed my cut which was choppy from the stylist I went to in the Otay Ranch area!
I thank God for leading me to Cassandra and love the improvements she performed on my hair!

I followed Vicki to Rico’s on 3^rd because I love how she does my hair. She’s friendly, understands what I want without much effort and makes suggestions on color and styling that I might not have considered but end up loving. I’ve also had threading done here and they do a good job. If you need a new hairstylist, Call Vicki.

I have been going to Rico’s on Third for 6 years now. Snookie and Raquel do a great job of coloring and cutting my hair. The few times there has been a problem with the color (because of my resistant grays) they have graciously corrected it at no charge.
As important as their skills are, their generous civic minded hearts show clearly in many ways. On Friday (4÷11÷15) they did free hair and makeup for 30 teens who are fighting cancer so that they would look and feel beautiful for their prom that night! This was the sixth year Snookie has been doing this through Friends of Scott.

I was recommended to go to Erika by a friend. When i called for an appointment with her they passed the phone to 3 different people. I had no idea that she was no longer there. I asked if they knew where she was working or if they would have a way to contact her, they said no very rudely and hung up on me. I called my friend who has been going with Erika for 3yrs she gave me her cell number. I called her and what really made me mad was that Erika works 2 doors down at Ursula’s. So not only did the ladies at Rico’s lie to me but they were really rude and tried to have someone else assist me knowing i was looking for Erika. So if you’re looking for Erika she’s at Ursula’s, because these ladies won’t tell you where you could find her. I don’t think that’s right to lie to a client. When i went with Erika she’s very professional and understood what I wanted. I LOVE my hair

Luz does a great job and I highly recommend her. Location is clean and professional. Only issue would be the front street parking but they do have back street parking also.

I set up an appointment with Brenda, she did my makeup for a evening event. She did an excellent job. I do recommend her.

I’m sitting at Rico’s right now. I am not here for their hair services, but I am so incredibly impressed by their customer service and friendliness. They are so sweet. All the results I have seen just sitting here also look beautiful.

Walking Into The Salon I Was Approached With Smiles & I Felt Very Welcomed. I Went In For a Cut & Ended Up Leaving With Beautiful Locks & Suttle Highlights ! Erika Done An Amazing Job ! As It Was My First Time Experiencing Highlights, I Was A Little Nervous. Erika Was Very Reasurring And Carried Great Conversation To Calm My Butterflies ! The Ending Result Was Fantastic ! This was my first time to Rico’s and Erika was my stylist. I was having a bad day due to a nail job gone bad down the street from there, but that’s for another post! Anyways I only wanted a haircut and was nervous about seeing a new stylist. After I spoke with Erika we decided on highlights and a new style. I’m so pleased with the way my hair turned out, I’ve been getting so many compliments. Erika is a sweetheart also :) Thanks for taking care of me!

Erika did an amazing job on my hair! Finally after years of trying to find a good hair stylist I found her! I got highlights, ombré, and she corrected my haircut from a previous bad hair job experience. I love my hair! I live in Vegas but we come every other month to San Diego and Erika is definitely worth my trip. :)

Great salon, great atmosphere. I had my hair done by Ericka. I got an amazing cut and she suggested we color it, I was very hesitant but her confidence in doing so and her confidence in the color was convincing. I absolutely loved it! In pictures it was even more beautiful. Thank you Ericka :) I will be seeing you soon actually.

I had an epic review in place because I did not enjoy my time at Rico’s. I went in for highlights and a trim. It took too long and I was not entirely pleased with my time there. At the time I was very angry and disappointed at how long it took and the fact that I had to share Erika (my stylist) with two other clients. Now that my anger has subsided I can say that Erika was working hard and that she simply had too much work on her plate.
She was slow but in order to get hair right one must take their time. I didn’t like that she had clients waiting while others were being helped. It was as if she was the only stylist that was doing color.
I didn’t like how long it took and I ended up leaving without having my hair blow dried or styled because I had to be somewhere else. My sister ended up drying and straightening my hair. My hair wasn’t exactly what I wanted but it looks nice and natural so I am not too upset about that.
Rico’s is nice and the staff is friendly but they are popular so I wasn’t used to so many people having one stylist. I would recommend this place however I just wasn’t used to having to share my stylist. They get the job done.

Awesome customer service! Brenda colored my hair the exact color I have always wanted. I was greeted with smiles and felt very welcomed. I couldn’t ask for any better service. You can tell that she really loves her job. Left satisfied and happy. Brenda is my go to stylist.

It was my first time at Rico ’ s met with Brenda she was in amazing person and had great customer service, Brenda did in excellent job with my hair and make up. I went home very happy and received lots of complaints at party and my husband loved it, thank you Brenda for a wonderful job and I’ll come back soon

Since I found this place a couple years back I have not changed it. Raquel is my go to girl!!! Every time I come in she is amazing.
I recently went in to get my color fixed after a disaster and WOW!!! I seriously cried when I saw the results; tears of happiness!!! Have you ever been that happy about your hair that you cried? Well I haven’t till this past Friday!!!
