Love this place, good sushi and good prices! Staff and sushi chefs make the experience very pleasant!

I usually like coming here, but today I called ahead an order and it took over an hour and a half to get my food. People came and ate in and walked out full while I still waited, starving for my to go order. Sucks. Now I have to find another sushi spot

Best sushi with reasonable prices! Gotta recommend the fire roll (which is my favorite) to those that are fans of spicy foods ;)

Boba Thai tea and sushi rolls both lacked flavor. The service was also mediocre. Sadly, I will not be returning.

The sushi here is delicious and super affordable. They have rolls that never go above 10 bucks. They’re specialty rolls are amazing, especially the fire roll (jalopeños, sour cream, and crab). The food may be bomb, but the service is straight ass and the place is super tiny. Waiters bring you dirty water cups, take forever to just come and ask what you want, and take forever giving out the bill. I would suggest everyone order take out just to save yourself from getting annoyed.

I’m finding it incredibly difficult to find good sushi in the South Bay… Sushi House was my go to for some time, but now I have to say the hunt continues. When this place first opened it was decent. Tasty sushi for a reasonable price… I don’t know what has happened since, but it seems that over time, the quality of the sushi has deteriorated and the customer service is a joke. My most recent visit consisted of BBQ short ribs that were completely inedible and a mediocre spicy tuna handroll… the only saving grace here is the jalapeño roll, but that’s not even worth it anymore. Oh well, the search continues…

The 2 stars is for the service. I would give the food 2.5÷3 stars. I have been coming to this place for years and the last couple of times have been less than pleasant, I’m sad to say. The service has never been that great to begin with but I never went for the service I would go for the food. Lately the quality and taste of the food has really gone down. Tonight the service was just beyond bad. We asked for everything at least 3 times and every time we were given a face like the server was bothered that we kept asking her. Well maybe if you bring what i ask for the first time you wouldn’t get frustrated with me for asking you 3 times for it. The spicy mayo was just plain mayo sitting on top of my rice when i asked for it on the side. Overall not a pleasant experience. Probably wont be back for a good while.

I’ve been here many times and every time the service was horrible. But I ignored that because the sushi was always delicious!
However, they leave you at a table for a while before coming over to you for your drink order. Ask for anything special and they get annoyed. In their defense they’re always pretty busy so I can understand why asking for a plate of lemons would be an inconvenience. However, they could hold off on the eye rolls or huffs.
I tried to order the beef teriyaki plate that literally came with frost on it. ice frost? And when I asked if it came cold like that and was told no I explained while showing them that it was not hot at all. That was an issue to take it off my bill. I ordered something else and was happy to pay.
My last time there I ordered the beef teriyaki plate again to actually try it. And it was fine. Tasty and hott. And then a damn roach crawled on my Fricken thigh!!! And i flung it off me and looked like a crazy person. I didn’t want to freak out and have other guests freaking out but I explained to my roomie that we needed to go because I had flung a roach off of my leg. Our server came over and asked what happened and I told her but she said nothing and looked at me as though I was lying YET she was low key scoping the floor. And then we moved the table to get out and my roomie and I spotted it but so did she and she came over quickly and grabbed it with a tissue. Neither of us finished our food. We barely made a dent! They were trying to have us pay for our food. My roomie offered to pay for hers because she ate a bit more but I refused to pay for mine when I couldn’t stay there and finish eating knowing they have a roach problem. They were talking to one another in their language and it was just rude. I don’t suggest anyone eat here. The sushi s delicious, but I prefer to eat at places where I’m not questioning whether or not I’m eating roach eggs. –_​_​_​-​.

Love this local sushi spot. When I want sushi and do not want to drive far and not spend a lot satisfying my craving sushi house is my to go spot. Sushi is good and other dishes are great as well.

The food here is generally good. They have plenty of parking within the strip mall, the place is small so it feels like a «tight fit» when it starts to get crowded. If you are meeting people there, they won’t seat you until everyone has arrived. The timing with service is hit or miss. But again, the food is good. bathrooms aren’t always their cleanest… so…ugh! I don’t ever really pick to eat here, but my friend & her kids love this place which is why I end up here.

I’m only giving this place 3 stars because the prices were somewhat reasonable. The food on the other hand was not very good. The menu doesn’t have much variety on sushi rolls. I ordered three item bento box with teriyaki chicken (rice, soup, and side salad) one California roll and shrimp tempura. All this for $ 9.98 not bad at all. When I got my order it looked pretty but it turned out to be a disappointment. The chicken was very dry and it had a weird taste. The side salad had some type of yellow sweet dressing that was not good at all. The only thing that I liked was the California roll and the shrimp tempura. The men’s restroom was also in bad shape with graffiti all over the walls and ceiling. The only urinal there was out order :(and there was no soap in the restroom either. Honestly I don’t think I will be back to this place.

I don’t even know where to start. The women that work here are so incredibly rude and didn’t take my group of 3’s order for at least 20 minutes. It wasn’t even busy, the women kept walking right past us until we finally stacked up our menus and stopped one of the women to ask if we would be able to order.
The food and drinks were also incredibly sub par. I had a Thai tea and the flavor was far from what other restaurants serving tea/​boba offer. The Thai tea almost tasted watered down.
Then the food — nothing had any flavor! Even the miso soup was saddening.
When we got up to leave, I was halfway through a narrow opening between two tables when one of the older female waitresses walked RIGHT into me.
I’m never coming back here. Ever. Driving a little further for quality food and good service is totally worth it.

I usually don’t consider coming to this sushi restaurant because it is not in my neighborhood. However, I drove past and decided to come by again. My experience was great. The sushi came out at an appropriate time. They are very well organized and their sushi was not only presented well, but it tasted good. The staff and workers were not only sweet and kind, but I left feeling like I ate a home cooked meal. Recommended.

I’ve been here before with friends but this time I had a great experience. The place is clean and that’s always a plus. It’s not the coolest (as in style) but it looks very «small business» very «hole in the wall».
I’m trying to do a low carb diet so I had the chicken and vegetable bowl with no rice. It was super cheap so I had 2. I would do no sauce if you’re doing low carb tho

I Love Sushi and am getting tired of the Costco pre-​prepared stuff that is cold, dry and flavorless. Heard a great deal about this place and many mixed reviews so I thought I would give it a try. Went on a Saturday afternoon (2 PM) and the line was out the door and every table filled.
Personally, while we all hate lines we do love a place were we have peer approval by attendance, especially with raw fish. I ordered a to go of a Dragon roll, crunchy roll and the California roll.
Fresh, beautifully prepared and excellent value for the $ 20.00 price. The rice was fresh, moist and warm. Enough here for two.

Didn’t get a chance to check out the bathroom since the crowd was so thick. My theory is clean bathroom clean kitchen; it works for me. BTW, if the bathroom is dirty, I walk. no 2^nd chances.
Question: Why don’t they ever give you enough ginger and soy sauce? Why do I always have to ask for chopsticks? How do you eat Sushi with a plastic fork; sacrilege. Good Place, I am sold.
Note: Took about 25 minutes for order to arrive so I Killed time at the Thrift drugs next door down.

I’ve been going to the sushi house since they first opened and every time I go there the food is great! The people are nice and my grandfather enjoys them joking around with him in Spanish. The rolls are larger than most other sushi places, I LOVE the lion king or crunchy roll .
The wait times are long but worth it in my opinion.
If you call ahead it’s always about 15 – 20 min more than they say btw. Haha

3 or 4? I go with 4 stars cuz the prices are very good & well the sushi is good for the prices. I’ve been coming here for awhile now & the main sushi cook (Mexican guy) is real cool & does most of the work so you should tip him at the bar. It’s not the fanciest sushi but it’s good. The soups are good as well (Miso Soup on point). The chicken on the bento boxes are very tasty & very affordable.
I always get the Crunchy Roll with spicy mayo & a miso soup, it’s my fav here. The Chicken Yakisoba is very filling & good I get it with extra bean sprouts. The service has gotten a little better over the years.
The secret here is you got to be lucky & get here at the right time cuz the place is small & like someone said earlier «Everyone & there mother eats here» & when it gets busy well the service gets slower. So you might want to order ahead of time & take it to go but sushi don’t taste the same at home so that’s your call.
Yes I know the service can be slow at times & it’s small inside but hey it’s good affordable sushi. It’s my «Go to sushi place» when I’m in a budget & I want a good taste of sushi. If you want fancy expensive red carpet service sushi then this ain’t the place for you, so don’t come & complain. But if you want good affordable sushi then this place is worth coming too. I’ll keep on coming back & pray it’s not busy & yes I’ll bring my mother too.

This place is awful. Literally.
They gave me warm Sushi, like a California roll that’s has warm rice is seriously what the Ef. Who wants to eat warm rice!!? It makes no sense at all.
They take forever! Literally brah.
I ran out of water, they just passed me looking at my cup ignoring me the fact that I have an empty cup.
I had to seriously wave him down, and he didn’t even fill the cup! not even half! I’m like okay… Lol.
But I will not be back. Customer service sucks. But the Mexican sushi chefs Are more kind than the owners, waiters whateva sushi house.

The variety is very big.
La cali dad es buena aunque no exquisita. El precio es perfecto. Muy razonable, barato. Los sushi rolls son grandes.
El mejor sushi de la zona. Es rápido y limpio. Perfecto para llevar. El servicio no es perfecto si comes allí. Tardan en preparar la mesa, los cubiertos etc. Pero la comida viene rápido.

It’s sushi on a budget.
So what if the waiting time is long. Trust me, it’s well worth it.
I have been coming here for a few years now. Nothing has disappointed me with great service and decent prices. Most people order to go, so don’t trip out and not give it a chance because everyone and their mother are here.
I come here for the one thing: Honey Walnut Shrimp. My wifey loves it to death and will make sure to come here just for that golden taste. I highly recommend this plate, which comes with an iceberg salad and honey mustard.
Their whole menu is basic, but each category is worth trying out. The best bargain are the bento boxes, which are really just combos at decent prices. All the soups are delicious, the noodles entrees as well but the sushi prices are quite inexpensive.
What you get for lower pricing on the dining experience, are longer wait times for service. But they are fast, but will hustle every table to get your orders right. Just have a little patience and be sure to tip the sushi chefs who do all the hard work.
The fat: Decent sushi dining with the cafeteria rush.
The skinny: Locals normally phone in ahead for pick up.
