Every time I stop by to drop something off they’re very friendly and help me right away!

This place is an absolute travesty. I go in on Friday the 20^th. It’s about 4:30 p.m. I have a box I need to ship out for my company. We have a shipping account. It should be this easy: Take in box. Weigh box. Charge account for price of shipping (yes, I have the password and account info) and then ship the box. Sounds fairly simple. The first kid looked about eleventeen, but I’m cool with that. He weighs the box and says «that’ll be $ 55.» I told him I have an account. He says «We don’t do that here.» «You don’t do what?» He proceeds to tell me they are a franchise and aren’t the real UPS, they don’t print labels. Really?! Right on cue, here comes the manager. I didn’t catch his name but he is an older Mexican gent. In a very snotty and condescending tone he literally says the exact same thing that junior did. I said «Wow, that’s exactly what this kid said, verbatim.» He squints his eyes like a ferret and says to the kid «Pinche guerro» obviously referring to me, the f@%&ing white guy. I say fine, let me run back to my shop and print up the label since he wanted to «rent me their computer». When I arrive ten minutes later he is now engaging with this older AA couple. The older gentleman half of this couple actually says what everyone else in the room is thinking. «Hey man, it’s Friday, the end of the day. We are just trying to ship our dvr back to Cox so we can start our drive back to Kansas. I don’t appreciate the tone you are using towards my wife.» It was beautiful. Not loud or over the top. The rude manager starts printing a label for them. Wait, what!!! By this time junior walks up to me and said «Is that the label?» I said yeah. «We have to charge you to tape it on.» he says, with a smirk. I am actually am a rather smart dude, so I had already brought my own from my shop, anticipating his snide response. He was noticeably ruffled that he was no longer getting over on me. Label affixed, time to go. I mention to the older couple, on my way out, that he was just as rude to me, don’t feel bad. I can audibly hear the rude manager PFFFT! behind my back as I exit this establishment for the last time ever.

You guys have the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have nothing but problems when trying to get reimbursed corny package that you have LOST! I sent two packages at the same time and only one seemed to make it to its final destination. I have no clue why I bother to pay for a faster delivery as it is never there in the time frame it is promised. If I had ANY other choice for package delivery I wouldn’t use your services it in a heartbeat. Closing a claim with out advising the sender you did such is just down right dirty and y’all know it. Then when I tried to get reimbursed for my package you want proof I sent it and the contents in it. Are you freaking serious?! NEVER SHIPPING WITH YOU AGAIN. ILL SHIP WITH FEDEX AND GET MY PACKAGES WHEN PROMISED.

I always come here to drop off my prepaid Amazon returns. it’s always been in and out! Very nice and quick service. Works for me!

Worst store ever. They didn’t want to give me a strip of tape. He then asked me to buy a whole new roll of tape. Which I didn’t. Don’t go to this store

If I could give this UPS shipping center a 0 I would. Before we discuss the issue I had today, lets rewind to a couple months ago.
My first experience with this UPS center was as bad as today’s– I purchased an indestructible dog crate for my dog. On the day of scheduled delivery (a Thursday) I received a notice on my gate that the driver was unable to make the delivery because he had the wrong address… umm, you put the sticker on my gate. ON MY GATE!!! How can you not find my address? I quickly called their 800 number and was told that it was their mistake and the crate would be delivered tomorrow. Fantastic!
The next day (Friday) rolls around and still, no crate! I call back and am told by a different person that the crate was damaged and that’s why it wasn’t delivered. After explain that no, it’s not damaged (and that its a stainless steel reinforced 100 pound dog crate) I’m told again that it will be out for delivery the following business day-​which is Monday. Monday rolls around and I finally get my crate, minus all the screws-​which were lost when the driver ripped the package while carting it down the drive. UPS said they would send the whole crate back to the seller for a replacement but honestly rather than dealing with them again I’ll buy 12 bucks worth of screws from Home Depot.
FAST FORWARD TO TODAY
I’ve been waiting for a package to be delivered today. It WAS my birthday dress. I paid for express shipping ($ 45 dollars) so I would get to TODAY. So, you know, I could wear it for my birthday dinner. My boyfriend has been off of work all day and has been home all day. I got off of work at 4pm today so I would be home in time for it to be delivered.
5pm rolls around-​no package.
6pm rolls around– no package.
7pm rolls around– no package.
7:30pm rolls around and I can finally check the status of my package (via the seller NOT UPS) and it says something to the effect of «driver tried to make delivery, could not make contact. First attempt unsuccessful. 6:43pm».
Let’s please just point out that A driver NEVER tried to make contact-​I was inside my house at 6:43pm waiting to make contact.
They also didn’t leave a note saying that they’d tried to make a delivery.
Basically FIVE YEAR OLD TRICK OR TREATERS TO MY HOUSE CAN FIND MY DOOR BUT A UPS DRIVER CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THE SAME DAMN THING.
I call and of course even though they have drivers out until 8:00pm they stop answering the phone at 6:30pm. So by the time I get a hold of customer service there is nothing that they can do because the driver has already come in for the day. But it’s totally ok if I come in tomorrow from 10am-​1pm and pick up a package that was supposed to be delivered by tonight to my house. Because tomorrow totally helped me out tonight-​when I needed the dress. Yeah that makes their complete fuck up ok.
So now this is TWO out of TEO deliveries that UPS Chula Vista has messed up completely.
I’m not sure what baboons they have supervising, sorting and delivering at this center but they all should be terminated and replaced with people able to do their jobs. Possibly actual baboons.

Rude and unprofessional. Will not go there again.
I will be using USPS next time.
The two young kids working the front need to go back to school.

Went to this store to ship a computer keyboard to Oklahoma City. I waited in line while the two clerks were busy. While in line a woman came into the store and went directly to one of the clerks who had just finished with the previous client. Still in line after the woman left, I asked the clerk for assistance. The clerk quoted $ 11.58 for a 5 day delivery. My online stamp program showed $ 8.26 for 2 day shipment and $ 3.17 for 7 day shipment, through the US Postal Service. Without a functioning keyboard I couldn’t use my program and I mentioned the fact that USPS service was much cheaper and the clerk, in a condescending tone, told me I could go to the Post Office. But I was at UPS and wanted to get the keyboard on the way. The lack of attention to me as a client and the condescending attitude will not see me as a returning client.

I would write a review on how horrible this place is… But it’s not worth my time. Just don’t go here. All the workers are cunts. I don’t know why they claim to not be a part of UPS but their storefront clearly says «The UPS Store». They try their best at stealing your money! Horrible service. Horrible business. Horrible PERIOD!

Super lazy staff. It seems dishonesty is an acceptable employee trait. This UPS store does not appreciate the relationship they have with AT&T. I won’t go to this store for any reason ever.

My wife who lives in Baja California went to pick up a package here. She said the staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing that I see as wrong is that she was charged $ 10 to pick up package. I checked with UPS and they informed me that UPS Stores are independent and set their own rates on certain services. I went to stores web site and it did say that there is a fee for package pick-​up.
So my package is 17×12×11 their fee for a package 16×16×16 is ten dollars under 16×16×16 is $ 5. So I know that businesses need to find ways to make additional income but this is ridiculous.
