This is my new found love. We were absolutely meant to be! Me and traders joes, Trader joes and me. I’m in heaven every time I walk into this place! I loveee them soooo much I come twice a week.
FOR ANYONE WHO’S NEVER BEEN HERE (FIRST TIME GOERS) YOU MUST TRY THE COOKIE BUTTER AND COOKIE BUTTER ICE CREAM!!! IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
This location has the nicest friendliest employees I’ve ever met in my life! And I loveee the fact that they have mini shopping carts for kids, my daughter probably loves this store just as much as me.
Everything is reasonably priced especially the coconut oil and coconut water. Not a huge store but everything you find in there is a pure gem.

What can I say, it’s a Trader Joe’s. They have the best snacks around and it’s easy to drop cash here. It’s always well stocked and the cashiers are friendly. It’s sometimes a little crowded, but come on, it’s the only TJ’s in Chula I think. I have never had to wait THAT long. I’m usually never in a rush there anyway. I like to cruise around looking at all the weird stuff they have, like Bacon Jam and Dill Pickle Popcorn! Yes! And be honest, who doesn’t love TJ’s during the holidays? You know you do.
Let’s just say that if the zombie apocalypse happens I’m taking my machete and baseball bat to Trader Joe’s to stock up on chow. See you there.

Recently discovered this place thanks to a friend. I shop here primarily for lentils, cheese and wraps. When I have more time to spend to browse the selections I am sure I will find other key staples I will purchase.

Update: Business Do Not Fail, Leaders Do. If the Very Person who is supposed to be the Leader has the Inability to Accept Criticism or decides to Retaliate against you by Personally following you in the Store in front of Employees To Make a Point.(Okaaaay Point Made. Feel Better Now?) It simply means that they are unable to accept the fact that you called them on their dysfunctional mindset.
That Is Not Just a Leadership Issue. it’s a Character Issue. Lack of Leadership/​Character is not the Fault of your Hard working Employees. It is the Fault Of the Person who has been put in the position to Lead them.

This Is by far my Favorite Store in the whole wide world. I think Dean and Deluca would be right up there but that is a totally different type of obsession that I have lol =D I started Shopping at Trader Joe’s in the Pismo Beach area many many moons ago I loved ya then and I love you now… so I hate to write this less than Awesome review. In Fact it Pains me to write this. But It appears as though The Folks at Trader Joe’s in the Eastlake area are having a little problem with Theft and the One of the Thieves that they have their Sights on Is Yours Truly Muaaaah… What A Friggin Joke. Not sure How they Came to their Conclusions after three years of me shopping there but a Camera/​Security System would be far more Cost effective for these Super Sluethes than treating someone who is not a thief, who does not Steal and In the Words of Donna Summer «Works Hard for the Money» like they are a total Jerk trying to rip off one of the Greatest Coolest Grocery Stores not only in South County but the United States. but if you insist on continuing this Foolery of following me (or anyone else for that matter) then at least try not to make it so obvious– Do Not look over your shoulder at me and give me Dirty Looks as I pass you, or Stop mid-​conversation while talking to your employee to make a point of looking at me with the ol side eye, Please do not ignore me while I am picking out tomatoes right across from you and greet everyone else that walks by… Thats Just Bad Manners… Do not Follow My kid outside of the Store while giving him the ol Stank eye behind his back– You never know his mom could be sitting in the Parking lot watching you. Do not stand in the Cooler and watch me from Behind all the Beautifully Lined Milks/​Juices Its kinda Creepy in fact. its Super Duper Creepy you Creeper. and Please the Next time one of your Employees follows me around the Store or stands next to me staring blankly at Nothing like a total Douche Bag tell the him to the Her to the Her to the Him to at least say Hi (so its not so obvious) so that I can feel as though my presence is welcomed in a store that I am spending a Reasonably priced Fortune at on a Weekly Basis

I love me some trader joes! I love comming here the produce is always fresh and the store is always so nicely organized and clean makes you want to keep shopping haha.

Trader Joes is our family favorite kick ass grocery store!!! This location in Village walk is my favorite because lots of parking and next to restaurants and to my other fave TJMaxx. We always have a shopping spree at Tj because we almost buy everything here for kitchen stuff, frozen & pre-​package meals (I don’t like cooking), and it makes my life easy. They have certified organic meat & natural foodstuffs, fruits and produce, seafood etc. vegan and gluten free. They have great selection of beers and wine and Asian foodies (Indian frozen and Asian) kiddos faves are: TJ macN cheese, blueberry instant oatmeal, raw almonds, chili& lime nuts, mango green teas, cookies, snacks yum, mini-​tacos, shrimp nuggets, mango cream bars & macarons are to die for. Also Love their spaghetti marinara creamy tomato basil sauce and my super fave white fillet fish Veracruz OMG the bomb !!! And the clarified butter (Ghee) for my cooking oil & spices. Overall, excellent CS very helpful and friendly, positive atmosphere, love the paper products very environmentally recycled paper bags, and beautiful fresh flowers and plants at the entrance of the store. Always a pleasant experience to shop here and We’re such a BIG Fan of TJ (*_​*)

I came to this location last night for the first time and really liked it! I have been a fan of the company for many years and just recently moved to the area. So this will be my regular stop! Picked up some food for me and one of my animals and will definitely be back to get more things. There’s a ton of great vegetarian options and really unique things here. The flower section was really nice here and bigger than the location I’m used to. I look forward to coming back for a more thorough visit!

I love Trader Joes! I usually come here to buy cookie butter, because it is a MUST! I also like going through the freezer aisle because they have all kinds of good foods and desserts! Everything cookie butter I look for… hehe. I also like coming here to look at their wine selections! They have a variety of reds and whites with cool labeling! Sometimes they have tasters you can try of products they are trying to advertise/​sell. Make sure to bring a bag for your groceries to save plastics!

You can always count on them having something new and exciting for you to enjoy. Some items can seem odd but are surprisingly delicious such as the dill pickle flavored popcorn that they had recently. However, if sweets are your thing then you will definitely enjoy their selection of cookies and candy. I personally love their dark chocolate peanut butter cups and their dark chocolate covered almonds both of which were only $ 1 right by checkout.

Trader Joe’s in Eastlake, Chula Vista is always quiet and not so crowded place to shop. I shop here for organic food items that I cannot find somewhere else. They could be expensive, but nothing can replace organic foods. I have been reading on organic grown produce and organic foods. I’m glad Trader Joe’s is here.
I went there yesterday to buy chocolate candies for my daughter who is in Hawaii, and they don’t have Trader Joe’s in Oahu. Gregory has been very helpful and suggests a lot of dark chocolates that for sure my daughter would love to try. He’s very friendly and knows what he’s doing. It made my shopping a lot easier with his help.
I’m coming back for sure, store is very organized and clean.

So happy that east lake has a trader joes. This is your regular trader joes with the same amazing groceries. The staff is super friendly and very knowledge of their products and give honest recommendations. Everything is well organized and products are easy to find. This is the place to come grocery shopping if you want organic and fair trade items.

I love this store! They always have interesting new items. They have quality items at decent prices. They have a nice selection of fruits, veggies, dairy, meat, dry goods, etc. TJ have a large selection of wine & beer at great prices. They have a cute tasting counter for drinks & an area to sample food.
My kids love the store because they enjoy looking for Coba, the jaguar and getting a treat. The staff are extremely helpful & nice. They let you sample any item. Also, they have a good & yummy selection of prepared food for lunch or dinner. Check it out…

So I walked in here just looking to buy something to drink, I was thirsty. Oh my! I did not expect to see so many kinds of cookies and baked goods. As a cookie junkie this is dangerous for me. I paced back and forth down that aisle looking at all these sweets. I managed to talk myself out of getting any (regretting it now). I didn’t see many bottled drinks but I saw this mango juice smoothie so I got that. It was very good and refreshing for such a hot day. I’ll definitely be back to stock up on cookies.

Come in for the pre-​made salads. Decent selection of produce. But they have an awesome selection of the frozen foods, from the orange chicken to the king pao.
Definitely must try the jalapeño cilantro hummus (it’s pretty awesome)

Clean store, good prices, lots of options on wine

I love Trader Joe’s! This is slowly becoming a more regular spot for me. I love the concept. Healthy, yummy food at decent prices. I often get my work lunches from the salad section. The Thai Chicken Salad I had today was amazing. I could get that every week for the rest of the year and be happy.
The wine selection is massive. They break up the wine into countries, if you want to take your wine palate to an international level. (Which I do!) They also have a large selection of domestic wines from reputable wineries across the country. I hear a lot of people saying Two-​Buck Chuck is good — and it is not! Do not fall for that one.
Although it is a mostly healthy store, there is a large amount of candies and sweets in the place. If you haven’t tried their Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, then you are missing out! Trader Joes’s now has small bags of them at the check-​out counters which saves me the agony of keeping my self-​control with a huge container of those things.
The staff have always been nice and helpful. I recommend you check it out.

This place is great especially for the young, single, working executive on a busy schedule buy doesn’t want to but a load of groceries that’ll probable expire within a week. It’s affordable and portions www decent.

Last stop before vacation ends and of course I need to stop by here. Google Maps wasn’t really accurate because it got us to the housing area and luckily we just kept driving and eventually saw a shopping complex and figured it would be there.
This location is very nice and well kept, the whole mall is a well kept actually. There are tons of parking for all the stores, the employees were nice and greeted you as you walked in. The place is very organized and is the same layout as all the other Trader Joe’s. They also have a bathroom which is always a plus because after a long drive you don’t want to take two stops.
When i walk in i already know what i need. the usual, cookies, chocolate chips, batons, wafer cookies and etc. This trip i took a break on that cookie butter because i have gotten tired of that.
When i got to the cashier line she already knew that i was traveling somewhere because i literally had my cart fully stacked with the same items. After all that i still spend less than what i usually think i would spend. They are always affordable which is great because i have a lot of family and friends that always expect something back when I’m on vacation!

Nothing but good things for Trader Joe’s. My favorite thing about Joe’s is the salad ingredients. Although I buy the greens from Costco or Von’s, but I do love their salad dressings, pre-​sliced chicken, and feta cheese.
They have 12 for $ 5 macarons that are cheap AND pretty good. The salted caramel is an all-​time favorite for me.
Also, they have this healthy granola with vanilla/​almond cereal that is to die for. I’ve never actually tried their organic products, but I’m sure I will soon.
It’s a cute, convenient grocery store that I’ve grown to love. The people are always great, too!

I’ve been a big fan of Trader Joe’s since I was a teenager, and I am happy to say I am still a big fan. We are fortunate to have many around Southern California. This trip, I came in for oatmeal, organic tortilla chips, avocados, and some organic bread (
). I was able to find all those items, including some very good trail mixes and some raw almonds. (

Shingo Asian Pears were in season and looked great, so I picked a couple. (
) The customer service was very good. Twice, I was asked if I needed help or if I had any questions, and when I did about a specific magnum of red table wine, the man in charge of the wine department was well informed. (
)
The store was very well maintained and all the employees were busily stocking the shelves and helping customers. When I paid for my stuff, the girl at the register was hilarious. Great store.
