Worst truck rental place ever!!! I called to let the guy know that I was stuck on the freeway due to an accidents that had left debris all over the road. I even let him hear the sirens going by. So when I got there at 4:35pm (the place closes at 4:30) my gate coded didn’t work, I had to wait for someone to drive out so that I can drive my truck in. When I got in the vicinity I immediately got on the phone with Uhaul representative that works there and left two messages while standing Infront of the door. The agreement on the phone was he would have no problems with me returning gym truck a few mins late. So after several failed attempts, 10 mins later he came out and said «You returned the truck late and you just have to come back tomorrow.» My friend who helped me move some of the lighter parts of my bed room set had an injury due to the moving of my furniture when the headboard fell on his foot. My helpless friend kept pleading for him to check us in as he is also 100% disable VET. In spite of all that even after giving us his word that it wouldn’t be a problem returning the truck a few mins later he said «No he is off and he needs to leave.» We were so disappointed and with his non chalant behavior refusing to be sympathetic about the situation. So our last resort was the find a way which is more convenient for us so we asked him if there a drop off place where we can drop the truck off. He said no so we had to park the truck on the streets and I had to come back to check the truck in the next morning. He was very unprofessional and have no customer service or what so ever. I even have to pay extra $ 15 for gas because it was not at the line it was suppose to be. I filled up the gas before checking in. It’s just so darn frustrating to deal with bad customer service. I sincerely wouldn’t encourage anyone to use their services.
