The fish and shrimp are very delectable. The sweet tea is incredible. The wait time is slightly ridiculous but that can be understood somewhat because of how busy the establishment is. The prices are high. The servers are friendly.

Love this place! Everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful, and the food can’t be beat. My favorites are the fried shrimp po-boy with plenty of their awesome hush puppies. Their salad bar is wonderful, somehow everything being ice-cold makes it taste so much better than my home made salads! The location is great as well, being right on the Chunky River. Prices are very reasonable as well. Try it! You won’t be disappointed!

Anticipating great food. Not so much. Catfish was mushy, not fresh. I asked the waitress about the fried okra. She assured me they breaded their own and it was not frozen. Obviously she was delusional. To top it off there was a 450 lb guy sitting next to us that played games on his phone the whole time with all sounds on loud. His wife coughed constantly. Glad to get out of there.

Fried local catfish and hush puppies! You can have a whole or fillet of catfish. We had two kinds of hush puppies – regular and jalapeño. We also had some fried pickles – delicious! Our waitress lived up to the southern Mississippi hospitality with every utterance ending with a «sweetie,» or «darlin» or «honey.» Service was fantastic, atmosphere is rustic, and we had a good southern time. If you’re in the Meridian area, go to this place.
