Tried the tres leches cake, it was awesome! Going back for more. It was moist but not soggy, its sweetness was perfect not exaggerated They have pan de trigo (wheat) it is so much better than the white flour type

Living in the middle of Cicero you can’t help but be inundated by Mexican bakeries. Lucky for us we live close to the best one around. Sure, it offers the standard Mexican sweet cakes like conchas, bigotes, and polvorones to name a fiew but it stands out from the crowd by offering things that no other bakery here offers – rolls stuffed with cream cheese and strips of jalapeño peppers. Just eat one of these and you’re in heaven. Go there during the winter for two special winter treats – champorrado (Mexican hot chocolate made with masa harina) and atole de pina, a thick, almost porridge-​like drink with a slight pineapple taste. Forget counting your carbs for just one day and visit this bakery. During the summer don’t forget to stop next door to the ice cream shop they’ve added for some ice cream or a delicious shake.
