I’ll make this short and sweet. I have been a patient of Dr. Joe Borio’s for well over 10 years now. I believe that the office, the staff, the practice, the care, and Dr. Borio rival any other. The care I’ve been given during my time as a patient has been life changing, and possibly life saving. I recommend this practice highly for anyone looking to improve their health.

Have you ever been to one of those high priced department stores and everyone is overly nice and you can tell its soley for the purpose of turning your pockets inside out? Well meet Borios Chiropractic Health Center! Upon my first visit I found out that I wasn’t actually going to be able to get an adjustment that day because he needed to take x-rays(plan on feeling like you should get a cancer screening after sitting in front of that Cambrian era relic) that produced the most grainy x-rays I have ever seen in my life. That first visit is $ 38, oh and BTW after you’ve agreed to that they try and send you out with a $ 10 dollar ice pack that’s an advertisement for his practice over a 99 cent ice pack. You spend the majority of the time on that first visit watching a DVD about how awesome you are and how much awesomer chiropractic care is, then a foot scan and a heat scan of your back while someone literally reads crap to you about chiropractic care off of a computer monitor. Also they take your picture and you are assigned a patient number that you get to punch into a touch screen computer system every time you come(as apparently receptionists don’t serve a purpose these days other than taking money) Which brings me to my first $ 40 dollar visit, so I’m thinking this guys seems like kind of a weirdo, buy hey they did all that stuff the first time around, so this guy should at least know a lot about my spine!!! Well, when I get into one of six or seven«adjustment rooms» I find that he doesn’t actually reference any of that information, and he walks around in a circuit giving the same cookie cutter adjustment to everyone, literally think he spent all of 30 – 45 seconds with me(that’s about a dollar a second, if I’m switching careers I know where I’m going) So then he wont discuss your x-rays with you at that time, but you’re invited to come back at 6pm with you’re entire family to review the results(of course an attempt to get your entire family coming) so, then you and 20 or so other people watch another DVD, get a nutritional info speech, another chiropractic is awesome speech(a little over an hour) and then he starts taking everyone out individually to review the results, well I was a cash payment person that had already told him I wasn’t going to be able to come on an ever so regular basis, so surprise, I’m the last person to get taken in to talk! This is the point where I’m told that I have stage 2 arthritis all over as can be seen on these barely visible x-rays, and that he can fix it, but I’m going to have to come 3 times a week for three months, 2 times a week for six-eight months, and once a week for the remainder of the year all at the cost of about three thousand dollars, which conveniently he has a contract in with your results(which is a preprinted packet with two fill in the blanks one of which being the cost) where you can sign your life away for a convenient payment plan that rivals a car payment! Needless to say I wont be gong back… Oh but in case you would like some misinformation he does offer a nutrition class where you are told that everything that isn’t pretty much under the guidelines of a strict organic vegan diet will kill you(I didn’t go, he plays a prerecorded tape of one while you wait around for him to interview with everyone) which to that method of thinking I offer you this final thought, do you know what else is guaranteed to kill you? Living!(results in death 100% of the time!)
