We usually end up here after a day of kayaking. The location is easy to find from the lake; they are the one with the giant smiley face on the roof. They have a volleyball court, outdoor and indoor seating, full bar and food menu too. The prices are pretty good, and the mozzarella sticks are awesome. I’ve never seen the place busy, but we’ve always gone on the afternoon on a weekend. The wait for food can be a little lengthy, but my guess is that it was, again, because of the time of day. This bar is perfectly fine for a quick break from being on the lake, but I wouldn’t go out of your way otherwise.

A fun little spot with a nice deck on Oneida Lake. Good for a burgers and beers stop while out boating!

We ate at Coopers 3 different times while vacationing on Oneida Lake. The first night was a Friday and my son and I both had the haddock dinner w/fries and cole slaw. It was your usual fish fry dinner. My wife had the special. Let me tell you, I wished I’d gotten that! Fresh Littleneck clams with fresh scallops and diced green and red bell peppers in a light tomato sauce. Absolutely delicious. Night 2 was a Tuesday night. The wing special was on from 6 – 9 with .40 cent wings. We tried three different flavors. Sweet chili thai, K special, and southern fried. All were delicious. Nice big meaty wings cooked to perfection. The last night was a Thursday, 07⁄04. It was a quiet night and we had a chance to talk with the Chef, Rob Pettit. He made us an appetizing plate of steamed clams with scallops and fish fillet in a lemon butter sauce with diced red and green bell pepper. Everything worked together perfectly. He has some great ideas on making menu changes that sounded super. Hopefully, he will be able to stay here and delight diners with his awesome ideas. It is a bar indoor and outdoor seating. Unortunately, the bar and restaurant are separated so a credit card is necessary to run a tab for drinks.
