Harold’s Auto Service

Started coming here by accident. I work for a tow company and we brought customer cars here. I really liked there honesty and brought my car in well the service is great they tell you up front what the problems are how they can fix it and what it will cost. One time they told me my car is not worth fixing and I should instead get a new car. Not many mechanics are that honest most only care about getting a sale. Not these guys! I have been going here for 5 years and I refuse to go any where else! My girlfriend who lives in Des plaines asked me where to get her car fixed I told her Harold’s well she wanted something closer so she asked a coworker and the coworker responded I got a great shop but they are a little far from here it’s called Harold’s on 25^th and central! Hahaha she couldn’t get away from Harold’s! Now some people say they are pricey but I will tell you this I have had other mechanics work on my vehicle to have another part go bad that was related to the first repair and they DENY DENY DENY. So then I bring it back there for more money. At Harold’s I have never had that happen and there’s times where they have called me and said hey we started working on the problem and we found something else and this is the price and we suggest you fix it. Because if you don’t fix it now it is going to break later! Give them a try I guarantee you that you will become a repeat customer! We love Harold’s. Every repair that we had done has been reasonable and honest. They tell you up front what needs to be done and how much it will be. A breathe of fresh air in this current market.
I highly recommend them to everyone on Unilocal and all my friends. Many of my friends have work done there.
