Horrible service. They could care less. They don’t pay attention to detail. Then they act like it’s your fault they screwed up

Fast service. Great food. Shakes were delicious. Our car hop Esmeralda was fantastic. Liked the fact that she later checked on how we were doing. A+ customer service!

The people who take the orders are very rude. A girl cut me off when I wasn’t done ordering and had to press the red button again. I had ordered a sundae because I saw a server with sundaes and they looked good! When I got mine they gave a a little dot of whip cream on the side of the sundae. It didn’t looked nice like the ones I saw. The ones I saw had a lot of whip cream and looked pretty. Mine looked like crap. Server forgot to give straws and spoons and napkins. Bad service and rude. Never coming here again. You get what you get because of the neighbor hood is in isn’t the best.

weakest, smallest small fry i’ve ever gotten in the history of life. there were probably about 12 fries in it.
chicken sandwich was pretty solid.
onion rings were weird, they were sweet and kinda tasted like cornbread.
$ 8.97 for that.

Solid 4 stars.
The Good: Always consistent, good value and the text club offers sweet promos. Their parking lot and dining area is always super clean.
The Bad: Lack of human interaction when ordering is kinda weird for me. There’s a walk up but you still order through a speaker box and sometimes it’s hard to hear.
The Ugly: Being right next to a carwash, sometimes you get some pretty weird ass people walking around.

I frequented this chain when in college out of state. When one opened with in reasonable distance I came. I think I’ve been disappointed each time. The last 2 times was just for a pop. How do you mess up a pop!!! The time before last it took them almost 30 minutes to bring out 3 pops. Come on… !

I used to go to Sonic ALL the time and was excited there was now one close to home. So, when Groupon had one for Sonic I was excited.
So we had a Groupon for $ 10. I ordered a foot long chili cheese coney and tots, my wife got a grilled cheese and we got an extra tots with cheese. Also, there were only two other cars there.
It didn’t seem like it was enough to use up the $ 10 so I called back.
Me: Did we order enough?
Girl: Yes.
Me: Is there money left?
Girl: No.
Me: What was the total?
Girl: $ 7.07.
Me: So there’s money left? …
Girl: silence.
Call back. A guy this time. Same thing, repeated.
Me: So I have $ 3 to use?
Guy: Yes.
Me: Ok, throw in an onion rings.
Guy: Ok… Silence.
5 minutes later the food came out. EVERYTHING except for the grilled cheese and onion rings were wrong. BUT, was in the ballpark so I said, f-​it, let’s go. We took a bite of the onion rings, tasted like cake batter, opened the foot long, was more like a half foot long, the tater tots weren’t in the order (came with the «foot long» chili cheese coney) and the cheese fries (which should have been cheese tater tots) were cold and the grilled cheese was nasty. My wife threw it out. I had the tiny chili cheese dog, a few of the cold fries and the rest went to the trash.
I have NO idea how this place has stuck around this long. The people running the show are about as bright as a group of stoned squirrels and the food is not good enough to feed to raccoons. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I wish no stars was an option. Gives the impression there’s something possibly ok here. It’s so wrong. So, so wrong.

Finally, got to try out Sonic since we were in the area. When we got the food, I didn’t have high hopes. I think most items are just sitting under a heat lamp. Food came out pretty quick.
Asiago Caeser Grilled Chicken Sandwich Combo — My guy said it was okay.
Sonic Cheeseburger — I was surprised the cheese wasn’t even melted. It was okay, nothing really special.
Chili Cheese Tots — This did not look appetizing at all (check photo), but it wasn’t bad.
Cherry Lime Slushie — OMG! I loved this… so sad I got a small.
Overall, it was okay, but I think it is a tad pricey. I definitely would go back just for the slushies.

total waste of time, cold food, ignorant phone people (kimesha in corporate) area manager does NOT call customers back. Go to mcdonalds for cheap warm food. My food is warm from mcdonalds but ice cold from sonic

Not gonna lie. I’m so happy that there’s a Sonic close to the city that I don’t have to drive an hour and a half to get to!
Service has always been quick, and food has always been hot.
Cherry Lime Slush cravings will now be met… during and out of happy hour pricing :-)

I’ve had Sonic at different locations before and was happy to hear a new one opened up near the Chicago land area.
The service was fast and friendly, no complaints there.
The quality of the food was not as good as the other locations that I’ve dined at before. It’s also a bit more expensive than the other fast food joints in the area.
Will I return to this location?
Probably, my kids like it and its located right next to the movie theater we frequent.

Finally! A Sonics around the Chicago land area. Simply the best fast food restaurant as opposed to McDonalds and Burger King. Loveeee it! If you haven’t tried it, you need to. Their double bacon cheeseburger is yuuuuummm. :)

Great food and service. Verry friendly! A little pricey but burgers and nice and big and they have FOOTLONG hot dogs. Real big its great! Love the chili cheese tots and watermelon slushies!

I am just happy that Sonic drive in is closer to us now. I like their jumbo popcorn chicken and of course the strawberry-​limeade and their tater tots.

Today was our first visit to this newly opened sonic. The place was booming but the car hops and the drive thru attendants helped to make sure everything stayed calm cool and collected. The lime aids were great the food was pretty good the only bad thing is that our tots were cold. I will be back I am sure, considering my children love sonic and the fact that it is so close to the city.
