You absolutely must stop here! Get an ice cream cone for only $ 1 and browse the collection of boy scout patches, jewelry and arts and crafts. The best part about this place is the friendly owner, Valerie, who has owned the shoppe for over twenty years! She made us feel extremely welcome and pointed out some very helpful info for touring the area. Out of all the small town stops I have made in my years on the road, this was #1!

Ice cream, art, coffee, jewelry — the gallery has it all! You’ll always be greeted warmly and experience the best customer service anywhere in Colfax County. If you are in town for anything related to Philmont, you’ll find a fantastic collection of Boy Scout memorabilia to gawk at as well.

Many, many years ago I sold a few drawings at the Cimarron Art Gallery. Now I visit for the ice cream and a bit of light souvenir shopping. Very friendly folks!
