A B IntroSpect

I want to say right off the bat that Grover Brown and AB IntroSpect exceeded every expectation we had! Absolutely terrific to work with!
AB is not the cheapest nor are they the most expensive. We called around to several different inspectors once we were in contract on a house (yeah!). We went with AB because of Grover. We are very big on customer service and the way we are treated by businesses and those representing them. Honestly, Grover’s customer service is unparalleled. On the phone, he was great. In person, even better!
Our inspection packet is organized in a nice three-​ring binder sorted in to different sections. He includes the seller’s disclosure info and the MLS posting for the house; the entire report, with pictures; areas of concern and things to keep an eye on in a separate «highlights» section; and several helpful «how to» guides, do-​it-​yourself tips and references on homeowner maintenance basics. On top of that, he went through every bit of it with us, sometimes with our child on his lap! Totally relaxed, patient and cool. It was great.
After we went through the booklet we walked around the entire place so he could point out key areas of concern and make recommendations. Throughout, he personally offered to help when the time came to tackle these projects. He said «Call me up before you get going on this and I’ll walk you through it». He offered to help locate hard-​to-​find materials that aren’t carried at Lowe’s or Home Depot. He talked about his own home repair experience and his willingness to be hired if we need him at a discounted rate as long as I help him do the work. He wants to teach me how to do it myself!
Last thing — we broke bread together. We have a significant amount of Easter leftovers so we brought some as a snack since the inspection was taking place in the afternoon/​evening. Grover gladly shared the food with us and complimented my wife’s cooking several times.
Grover answered every question, made suggestions, took his time and totally over-​delivered for us. I will definitely use him for our forthcoming home repair needs (those I can’t do myself) and recommend him to everyone!
