I Love Dr. Black and his staff. He listens, he is kind and understanding. He is very skilled and knowledgeable and always recommends the best treatment for me.
In the past I was very nervous and anxious having to go to the dentist. Once I found Dr. Black I can literally say I looked forward to the appointment and always left with a smile on my face.
I have just relocated to Nashville and am so sad I had to leave his practice. I can only hope to find someone half the dentist and person he is.
Best of luck and definitely highly consider Dr. Black’s office.

Some people will dread going to the dentist for their entire life. Lucky for me, I only dreaded going to the dentist for the first ten years of my life. The only person I can thank for this is Dr. Allen Black.
Dr. Black is kind, adept, and makes sure to bring up a point of conversation you shared the last time you were in. Some dentists like to verbally discipline you when you slack off on your oral care, which is probably one of the reasons many people dread the dentist to begin with. But Dr. Black is different. He takes an informative approach, and it is a breath of fresh air. (No pun intended, originally.)
I’ve lost track of how many years I’ve been visiting Dr. Black’s practice, but it’s somewhere between 10 – 17. Only once has there been an issue that’s needed correction and he handled it with a sincere apology and supreme professionalism.
His staff is also lovely. It’s regrettable that I’m unable to converse with them as much as I’d like, considering the numerous instruments in my mouth at any given time, but the conversations we do get to share are always pleasant.
His office is clean, orderly, and cozy, not sterile. There is also a nice little corner for children to read books or play. Also, if you have children, juice up their creativity before you go because there is always a stuffed animal naming contest going on. It takes a lot of restraint not to contribute my own ideas. ;)
Be sure to give Dr. Black a call when a dental need arises. He is honestly the best person for the job.
