I’ve been vaping for a while, and was told to check this place out. stopped in today after a jungle jims run and I must say I found my experience disappointing. my girlfriend a i browsed for a couple of minutes and then took a seat at the flavor bar and started perusing the juice menu to see what might interest us. The store wasn’t vacant but it was far from busy, and yet the 5 people working seemingly couldn’t be bothered to help us. Finally someone greeted us, but continued right on walking past before i could ask for a silicone cover to try some flavors. i understand if youre busy, but the two people behind the flavor bar were at the far end essentially chatting with folks, one of the two drinking a big gatorade. a 3^rd employee spent the entirety of our time there blowing clouds and talking to a guy on a couch near the entrance. i repeatedly tried to make eye contact and beckon someone over to help us because i wanted to spend a decent chunk of change in this place, but eventually we got fed up and left. Hopefully the owners see this and encourage their employees to multitask and be more attentive so that other people don’t develop a sour taste for their business, but I for one won’t be going to an Alt Smoke again without a SIGNIFICANT incentive.

Great place for vaping supplies in the Cincinnati area. Knowledgeable, friendly staff that can set anyone for a veteran vaper to a beginner in the right direction. I stop in about every two weeks to restock and take time to enjoy the company and the juice bar.

Have been there multiple times since opening. Like the other reviewers, they are spot on when it comes to the friendliness of the staff and their extensive knowledgeability. Having been a vaper for over 3 years now, I have become set in my ways on what I like. Their vape juice is plentiful but falls short when not offering 100% VG. PG can be very rough on the throat and can cause headaches to many. I will stop there when in a pinch, but some of their prices are pretty steep, especially with replacement parts.
This place is awesome for the starting vaper and their store is more or less geared for that. I am also aware that this is a brick and mortar store (best in the city!) and there are overhead costs compared to online stores. One last frustrating piece is that they don’t honor the online store prices, which are considerably cheaper than walking into the store.
All in all, a great place with a great staff with ok prices.

I was hesitant to try these guys when a friend of mine coerced me into going. I had tried the other ‘fake’ cigarettes last year. You know, the ‘blu’ and the other ones you can get at gas stations and truck stops. The truth was, the only those things did was pretty much make me mad. They were absolutely no replacement at all for cigarettes for me. However, my friend is quite persistent and finally talked me into going.
We showed up about an hour before closing. Those poor guys put up with us for two hours. We literally tried every single flavor they had. By the time we were done, I know my whole body was buzzing from the nicotine and I was talking faster than I could breathe. The atmosphere of the place is nice. I can easily see them doing some kind of «Jazz Tuesdays» or «Spoken Word» Thursdays there. It is well done and comfortable.
They have quite a flavor variety and the good thing is that they let you try everything they have. I have been to other smoke shops that you don’t get to do that. I suggest you try things that you normally wouldn’t think you would like. For instance, I thought I would LOVE strawberry and hate butterscotch and the exact opposite is true.
As for me and my smoking. Well, when I walked in there in late June, I was smoking a pack and a half a day easily. I have had four cigarettes in the last five days. Frankly, I think that is because my stupid brain is still unwilling to give up that one… last…cigarette.
As for the quality of their juices… well, I haven’t been able to find anyone better. The Nicquid line is actually produced somewhat locally (DAYTON). It’s a bit muted (I think) but the flavors are pure with no weird aftertaste.
Prices…they really can’t be beat overall, not for the quality. Their starter kits are VERY reasonably priced and no where in Cincinnati can I find quality juices for the price they have. I have, however found more expensive juices at other places that don’t even touch the ones Alt Smoke offers on quality. I’ve also tried ordering juices online (yeah, I’m cheap) and I’ve wasted WAY more money than I’ve saved and learned a pretty good lesson. I’m sticking with Alt Smoke.
I’m going ziplining on Saturday with the money I’ve already saved on cigarettes. Also, my plan is to wean completely off nicotine. I started at the 18mg level and am down to 12mg now.
The staff is very knowledgeable and tolerate my exuberant personality VERY well. I have also seen them help multiple other clients and have always done so with extreme patience. KUDOS to them because I think I would have plotted the death of some, myself included. I love this place and have returned multiple times and will continue to do so.

This place is amazing! A little hard to find if it’s your first time stopping in, but the staff is fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and have no problem taking the time to show you their product. You also get to try the product. Wonderful! Stop in here, just be prepared to spend a little time, and a little cash. Don’t worry: they’re quick, and inexpensive! It’s just that you’ll WANT to spend time here, and you’ll feel a deep, overwhelming desire to buy super-​cool toys or flavors.
