Beechmont Racquet & Fitness Club

I’ve been a member for several years. You can’t be the price for a family and they have so many options for fitness. The staff is friendly and welcoming and they’re always making improvements to the gym. Even on the busiest days it’s not overly crowded.
The childcare ladies are awesome, our children had been going since babies and love it there!

Although I played in many tennis tournaments as a teenager, I only made it out to the Beechmont Racquet & Fitness Club once. I found myself back there again the other day and I had forgotten how nice it is. I’ve only been on the tennis courts (8 HarTru indoor hard courts), but they have so much more to offer. In fact, I don’t know how popular the tennis really is as there were zero courts being used when I stopped in around 3:00 on a Tuesday afternoon (plus most top area juniors play at Harper’s or Five Seasons). Perhaps they were closed though because they will be resurfacing (or at least repainting) the courts to look like the purple and green courts at Mason’s Lindner Family Tennis Center.
The fitness center and programs may be the real draw to the club as they have a really large and very nice fitness facility and other related amenities. They have two weight rooms, three aerobics rooms, a lot of cardio machines with individualized televisions, a 36-​foot climbing wall, a lap pool, a jogging track, and even a kids workout room. The best thing, however (or at least the coolest), is the cinema room. As club members run on the treadmills (in this one particular room) they can watch the «latest DVD’s» with surround sound on their large movie screen (War of the Worlds was playing when I was there).
Surely Beechmont Racquet & Fitness Club has its competitors, but being that it is all the way in Anderson Township I bet that nothing in the surrounding areas can measure up to this place. In addition to the tennis (with adult leagues and the Beechmont’s Educational System in Tennis (B.E.S.T. junior program)) and excellent fitness facilities, they also have tanning beds, five racquetball courts, and a small tennis pro shop. They also have plenty of comfortable seating if you are watching someone play tennis and the staff is very friendly too. Despite its great size it has somewhat of a neighborhood feel to it and it is an all-​around great place to be a member if you live nearby.
