Best Buy

I live 20+ minutes away from this Best Buy, but we still come out here if we need electronics. The employees at this location are very helpful. Most people think they work on commission, but they don’t, so they’re not going to pressure you into buying the highest price piece of equipment out there. My only real complaint is that their phone accessories are displayed basically all over the store on different racks, rather than just being in one spot. So sometimes things are hard to find. Overall, a good Best Buy.

The cell phone setup here is somewhat ridiculous. The employees aren’t fully aware of the details of the plans that they are selling. I sat at the store last week for over an hour while trying to set up a plan and activate my new phone. Also, the store apparently has no control over their phone shipments, so they don’t know when they will receive phones in stock. Next time I will just go to the Apple store.

Got a great deal on my TV. They were very helpful in getting me the right TV. The price was great and they had a promotion going on for a free gift card at the time. I would suggest them to anyone.

I was very happy with my experience here. We came looking for a particular product (in this case, a carpet cleaner vacuum). We were helped promptly by someone who helped us find the model we were looking for. Without us even asking, the employee volunteered to do a price check, looked online, and took $ 30 off the price, and then apologized for not being able to get it lower. This put it about $ 60 less than amazon, which made me very happy. It was a quick transaction, and we ended up saving money.

I’m a little disappointed with this store. When I worked at Best Buy, I know they told us nobody should ever reach the back of the store before being greeted. Tonight I probably circled the store five times before somebody finally asked if I needed help. Which I did need help. I couldn’t find a product and I was clearly searching for something and none of the employees seemed concerned enough to stop and ask if I needed any help. However, I’m going to give them a three star rating because I do like the store and they’re wide range of products that sets them apart from other stores.

The geek squad at this location is totally incompetent. They had my open box PC that They sold me off the shelf and they said it had a one year warranty. But when I brought it to them they tried to charge me $ 200 to fix a PC they sold me that would not turn on. They finally agreed to check it for no cost. They had it for two days and said there was nothing wrong with the hardware at all. It’s was a software problem and that I had to send back to the manufacture. So I send it Asus and when I got my PC back the repair was a bad memory chip which unless your a total idiot memory chips are hardware. I called geek squad after I got it back from Asus and ask them to reimburse me for shipping and said they would fix my PC after it was already fix. They are total retards. I will never buy anything from best buy again.

Comparable to other Best Buy stores. As a chain store that’s what you look for: consistency. Best Buy isn’t my first choice for electronics and Eastgate isn’t very close to where I live, but it gets the job done.
The blue shirts were anxious to help me find what I was looking for, almost too attentive, but I went on Black Friday so this was probably because of the holiday.
I’d like to see them expand the store to include a Magnolia section with higher end product.

This seemed a fairly typical medium-​sized Best Buy store. Except for the security person at the front, no one talked to me.
I found the overly huge and new Samsung area, empty, except for the dedicated Samsung person. This store seemed to have several areas well-​defined to showcase merchandise.
I never really found many of the movies, although they had plenty of music available.
Of course, prices are generally high, because they have to factor the instant rebates and manager’s specials into the profit margin.

We live in Mariemont which isn’t super far from Eastgate, but enough of a drive that it might deter me from going out there too often. But if I need something electronics related I am happy to make the trek to find it at Best buy.
We shopped around for our washer and dryer and found the ones we were looking for were cheapest a Best Buy. Plus the fact that the staff don’t work on commission makes a huge difference in that they don’t drive you crazy following you around the store pressuring you into buying something. You can take your time, browse and if you have questions or need help, they are available.
Plus with our rewards from buying the washer/​dryer combo we got a nice gift certificate to buy a bunch of movies and CDs.

The service at Best Buy Eastgate was great. I was approached quickly to see if I had any questions, and the employees knew exactly where each item was. I was pleased with the service here.
Downside: prices. OK, i’m guilty of using my
app in-store…I found the products I was looking for on Amazon for about half or less on Amazon. So, if you’re willing to wait a couple days, Amazon beats Best Buy…
I walked out empty-​handed (other than my son)…

I can’t really speak for the whole store, but I did go and get an iPhone here and the people in the mobile store were helpful and awesome. This is a bigger (Older) Best Buy and I like it because of that. I don’t feel cramped in like I do when I’m in the Fields Ertel location. So… I guess I would have to say that among everything in Eastgate. this is oen of the gems.

Best But is the location for everything techy, and gadgety, and computery, and… well, just plain geeky and nerdy. DVD’s, CD’s, stereo equipment, computers, printers, video games, TV’s, you name it, this is where you can get it. And usually at a pretty inexpensive price.
I’ve bought DVD’s, video games, and my current computer and printer from this place. It’s always been a good experience. A few months ago my computer got hit with a nasty virus. The Best Buy Geek Squad came to my rescue, although it did take a bit out of my wallet. Staff is always very courteous and knowledgeable.
It does the trick every time I go in there. And that’s good enough for me.
