Pros: Friendly staff, solid bed/pillows, good neighborhood/location, super clean, breakfast and WIFI included, affordable. Cons: Pool and gym amenities are accessible only from the outside, a little dated/old fashioned, highway noise(my room faced I-71). Conclusion: I can’t make up my mind over this hotel. Friendly staff, a solid bed, and super cleanliness is sufficient and makes it a good hotel, all other stuff not withstanding. But the fact I have to walk outside to go to the gym, that it has mid-2000 tech inside, and that, despite the comfortable bed, I could never get a good night’s sleep due to highway noise, I’m just not that keen on it. For me, it’s an A-OK experience at 3 stars.

Yea, methinks not! Okay to start: my sister and I stopped here with her two cats during our cross country trip. We wanted to have dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy and this place was closest and accepted pets. It is nice and clean and the rooms are nice and big. We checked in. We could not get the keys to open the door so my sister had to go back downstairs to get them fixed. We got the cats settled and went to dinner. We came back and, again, the keys did not work. So my sister went back downstairs to get them fixed. We get in the room and one cat was missing. We looked everywhere in that room — flipped the cushions over, moved the couch and entertainment center, lifted the mattress to see if she squeezed underneath — you get the point. The room has a door connected to another room that was not locked so my sister called the front desk to see if someone may have entered the room from that door out of curiosity and they told her«we’ll call you back». So I walked the halls to see if I could find her and sure enough I did, hiding under the heating unit at the end of the hall. My sister never received a call back from the front desk, instead, I ran into an employee coming out of the elevator on my way back to the room and she was there to explain that they gave us the wrong room number upon check-in, which is why the keys would not work — both times. And you would think they would have caught that at least on the first time the keys didn’t work??? She goes on to explain that because they gave us the wrong room number, they checked another person into our room and when he opened the door and saw our things in there, the cat ran out and he went back downstairs to let them know someone was already in the room. And that she was«sorry». Her tone was not apologetic and nonchalant — «no big deal you lost your cat because it looks like you found her anyway» kind of attitude. So… what? Were you not going to try to look for the lost cat and just let us freak out when we saw she was missing? You couldn’t try to explain what happened to us on the phone? Instead you wanted to send someone upstairs to tell us to our faces what happened in an «I don’t really care what happened to you» attitude? This traumatized my sister for the duration of the trip(5 more days on the road). We thought we could trust this hotel to leave the cats in, what was supposed to be our room, long enough to go out and get dinner but I suppose that’s just not possible here with incompetent and insensitive staff.

From the time we checked in to this place to the late check out the service has been great! I think this is a re-fab hotel made into suites, it looks like it has been re-done. Everything looks new from remodel with some touches of the older hotel. We got a suite with a full kitchen. Perfect for us as I am a chef and like to cook most of my own meals myself. Our room was spacious with a desk, lots of light, a living room and a seperate bedroom with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at ANY hotel. I don’t know what or how they managed that but I thought I had the most comfy bed on the planet at home. I loathe most hotel beds but our hotel bed was simply Amazballs! Even my hubby agrees the bed was super delux! Giant Plus! We also had two flat screens in our room. One in the living room and one in the bedroom. I loved that when you turned them on and off they made this futuristic encounters of the third kind musical chime that was cool! None of my flat screens do that lol The fitness room, the business center, the conference room, the full breakfast bar with waffles and omelet station, the happy hour in the lobby and especially the fabulous pool and BBQ were all super! We had a really nice stay. Flawless. I loved that this hotel was right across the street from Kenwood town center, Nordstroms, & all the great shops :) Next time I’m visiting Cincinnati, I will def be staying here! For the price you just can’t beat it! It’s like we had our own little apartment for a few days ;p If your looking for a great place that has it all… don’t miss this gem, this place rocked!
