Almost a 1 rating for this breakfast on the holiday weekend roadtrip. Mom was happy with her simple breakfast while I ordered the chicken fried steak that came out so grease saturated that I took 2 or 3 bites and left it uneaten. The hashbrowns were good. I should’ve known because the front door had a help wanted sign for a cook. Sad, won’t be stopping again anytime soon. I thought I’d like it since I’m from the upper mid-west and typically like the chains we don’t have. Wi-fi worked and was free.

Bob Evans disappointed me to the max. Long story short staff did not label my dinner and assistant manager made it seem like it was my fault. The manager hangs up on me(my mom was in the store to get the food for me).The manager yells out to her staff she couldn’t deal with me on the phone. Manager gets loud and unprofessional with my mother getting in her face. Ridiculous behavior that could have been avoided. No more Bob Evans for me. Service not the same. You spend your money and get treated like that.

This location is decent — the staff are friendly and the servers are excellent at keeping your coffee etc well stocked. Food is meh. It’s Bob Evans, you know what you are getting. Make sure you go WELLAFTER the church crowd is out for a Sunday, however, the wait can often be an hour long. West siders love their brunch after church.

Bob Evans has a little bit of everything and rarely disappoints. This is my easy go-to restaurant when we need a place for a family group to eat(meaning we have to please a wide variety of people, adults and children). This location can get very crowded on the weekends at lunchtime. Especially on Sundays, because that after-church crowd is huge! And with the recent closure of Golden Corral nearby, I expect the crowds to increase. However, they usually move people through pretty quickly and I’ve never had to wait longer than 15 – 20 minutes to sit a group of 6 – 8 people. They have great twisty straws for the kids that have a larger bendable area. A lot fewer spills with these straws, because they don’t have to pick up the cup, just bend the straw down and into the mouth! They also put the calories on the kids’ menu if that is a big deal for you. Oddly, they don’t put the calories on the regular menu though. Do as I say, but not as I do…
