Let me preface my review with the fact that I do not really like seafood and I only eat shrimp, some fish and more recently, scallops. My date and I were deciding on a place to eat but we knew we both wanted burgers. My date suggests Bonefish Grill. What the-? Burgers from a seafood restaurant? He swore up and down their burgers were delicious. I’d never been but I took his word for it. We of course got the Bang Bang Shrimp which I think my fellow Unilocalers have established is so yummy(I’m going back just for this). The Kobe beef burgers were also really good considering they aren’t in the burger business. My date ordered coleslaw for his side which quite possibly the best coleslaw I’ve ever had. I hate that I’m just discovering Bonefish but I will certainly be returning sooner rather than later!

Such a great family spot! We bring my gf’s grandma here every year for her b day. They give her the free chocolates and a free appetizer which is always so nice! We alway start with the pot stickers, then move to the bang bang shrimp. Last night we tried the bacon wrapped scallops which were amazing. For an entrée I always go with the salmon and green beans with steamed broccoli. Their happy hour prices are great as well. Last night they were $ 5 martini’s which we indulged in.

We went on a semi-busy Saturday night and sat at one of the high tops in the bar. We had to track down someone to take our order, like many others. We then had two servers introduce themselves, but after the first visit they were not attentive. My grapefruit martini was delicious, but when it was served it was not all the way full. A ¾ martini is not worth $ 9. The mussels were good, a little sweet on the sauce but tasty. Honestly the service was so off at the bar, we decided only to stay for the appetizer. Probably won’t be back.

I came to Bonefish Grill Sunday for lunch… it looked like they have a special brunch menu on Sundays. I ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos with fries and the corn and crab chowder. The shrimp tacos came in a trio and were a big portion for lunch. The shrimp themselves were crispy and also large! Personally, I think the bang bang sauce could have been spicier, but I like the flavor and can’t really complain. The chowder was not my favorite, it had a decent amount of crab in it, but it was a little heavy and a little too sweet for me. I also did not need the soup, the tacos were filling enough on their own! I also sampled a bite of the surf and turf eggs benedict, which was also delicious! Service was attentive and our server was so nice! She apologized multiple times for our food«taking too long» — which we hadn’t even noticed(I think it had only been about 15 minutes honestly… I’ve waited much longer at many other places with no acknowledgement or apology). At the end of the meal, she really surprised us by offering us a free dessert. We picked the macadamia nut brownie, which came with two warm brownie squares and two scoops of vanilla ice cream. I left lunch so full I didn’t end up eating dinner that night. I’ll be returning!

Overall a good experience. They had an orange roughy special with crab meat on top. Both my wife and I had the special. It was very good and portion size was reasonable too. We also had the lobster bisque and that was very good. There was a ton of lobster chunks in it. Service was great. Very fast and no issues what so ever. We’ll come back.

Went there for my first time on New Year’s eve and it was amazing. I made reservations and we were seated right away. The food was excellent, We ordered the bang bang shrimp for a appetizer and I ordered the Seabass. The service was very nice. My date and I had no complaints.

Our first experience was so close to perfect, only a 5 star rating fits. Our waiter was extremely friendly and explained the menu and specials to us well. All three of our entrees were delicious. My pan seared tuna steak with the pesto with green beans and Jasmine rice was perfectly done. My partner’s sirloin and mashed sweet potatoes were amazing!!!

I love Bonefish — it’s my favorite seafood/fish restaurant in Ohio. I don’t really like most chain restaurants but this is one of that I love. Our recent visit was on NYE — had a reservation(LOVE that they take reservations!) and we were sat as soon as we arrived. Fabulous happy hour(til 6:30) wine prices… $ 3! Our service was awesome — the food was amazing. If you’ve never had bang bang shrimp, you need to run to Bonefish! One of my favorite dishes. I’ve tried to replicate the sauce and I just can’t. It’s sheer perfection. Plus, the best sea bass ever. It’s light, flaky and buttery. It needs nothing but I can’t help myself with the sauces. Got the lemon butter and pesto. I upgraded to the sweet potato mash for the side — yum. And the garlic steamed spinach was super tasty too. A manager swung by our table to make sure everything was awesome — that’s a fabulous thing about Bonefish! If you love fish, I highly recommend Bonefish.

I had a great experience here with the service and the food. We got the Pad Thai and the fish tacos. Fish tacos were just ok, but the Pad Thai was great. We also had the lamp lollipops and loved them. Our server was nice and we enjoyed ourselves. Nothing super stupendous, but a good meal out for a date night!

We visited early on a Friday evening and there was was no wait. Our server arrived promptly. She seemed knowledgable about the menu and drink selection. We tried a few cocktails and all were fresh and delicious especially like their new Sidecar. We bypassed the popular shrimp bang-bang because of the spice and ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer. These were not the frozen app you have gotten elsewhere! Fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. We ordered the Chilean sea bass and the surf and turf with crab cakes. Again, everything was excellent! I enjoyed it so much that I bought a gift card so my husband will have to bring me back! I recommend! Atmosphere: B Service: A– Food: A Price: C+ what you would expect from an upscale restaurant and worth every bite.

I stopped at the Bonefish for lunch, I’ve never ate at this location before. The service I had received was the best I’ve had in a very long time. My steak was undercooked but easily fixed to be a true«medium». The menu is pretty pricey but the atmosphere is still informal.

Stopped by for a light dinner on Tuesday. Chicken salad and spouse ordered fish & chips. Just a quick bite. Sat near bar in spacious booth. Very predictable atmosphere will go again soon.

The location is kind of odd. Its in a strip mall next to a bank and a few other restaurants. Parking was a bear so I ended up parking in the banks parking lot. The décor was steakhouse elegant. It reminded me of Mitchells Seafood restaurant or any white tablecloth, low light, classy joint. I started out with the Bang Bang Shrimp since it was their signature appetizer. Albeit a little spicy, it was delicious. You get a good amount, and it wasn’t over sauced. I’ll get them again next time I’m there. After that I had the crab and corn soup. It was decent. I ate the crab off the top, then boxed it up. It was just way too thick for me. I thought it would be a bisque instead of almost like a potato soup consistency. So it was a miss for me. I finished my meal with the crab cakes. Now these were good. Not the biggest, but they are appetizers. Chocked full of actual crab and no pepper fillers or anything like that. I hate when crab cakes have peppers and crap so they don’t have to use as much actual crab. But these were lump crab and seasoning.

This review is for Sunday brunch. Who knew that Bonefish had a brunch menu?!? I sure didn’t before, but I do now! I had a Kobe burger with egg and it was delicious, the burger and bun were perfectly paired and the egg was well done. I added avocado for an extra charge which added an element of creamy butteriness that I enjoyed thoroughly. Pretty good burger considering this is a fish place. But the Bloody Mary. We MUST discuss. Hands down BESTBLOODYMARYEVER. They use a house-made mix that just oozes freshness and originality. I can’t quite place the extra bit of flavor that went beyond the typical tomato juice, but it makes this Bloody Mary unique and memorable. And the garnishes(a bleu cheese stuffed olive and a cheese stuffed peppadew) were thoughtful, purposeful, and added to the overall Bloody Mary experience. I would go back just to consume copious amounts of Bloody Mary drinks. The next time I would probably go for one of the omelets to try something new and different, but regardless of the food I decide on next time, it will without a doubt have to pair with the Bloody Mary.

I have had most of the menu items and although good they do not stand out for me. There are better seafood options in town for the price. Best bet is to go for happy hour, best deal in town at those times. The crab cakes are small and not the best. The bang bang shrimp is very good which is what they are known for.

While the service was attentive and swift, and the food plentiful and hot, at the $ 20 price point it is disappointing. We ordered pecan-parmesan crusted trout in lemon butter with artichokes — mushy texture, parmesan overwhelmed pecan flavor although piping hot — and teryaki bowl which my dining partner left. The moscow mule was overly sweet, not well balanced(minimal ginger beer flavor) — about $ 50 for two.

This was my first visit to Bonefish Grill and I enjoyed it. We ordered the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer & I LOVED it! I heard lots about the bang bang shrimp and they lived up to the hype! Our server was JT& he was great! Attentive, polite, gave suggestions etc. I got the crab cake & sirloin entrée with broccoli & their veggie(Cuscus). The crab cake was delicious! Favorite part of my entrée. I got my steak medium and it was a little over cooked but good. I hated the cuscus! I would definitely ask for a different veggie next time. For dessert we had the fried donuts which were so delicious!!! Overall, I had a good experience and would come back again!

I would like to update my review. I know out of all places, I choose to come to this restaurant for my birthday. I probabaly only come here once or twice a year, but everytime I come here, I get great service is food is always consistent and delicious. Plus I wanted to check out their new menu. We dined in on a weekday and was seated and waited on right away. Our server was very nice, patient and attentive. We started off with drinks which they had a great selection to choose from. I got the house pinot noir my husband got an IPA. With our drinks we got bread and pesto dipping sauce. For dinner I ordered the Parmesan crusted rainbow trout with artichoke hearts, fresh basil, lemon butter. Side items are spaghetti squash and garlic mashed potatoes. I also wanted a side of scallops(you receive 4 regular size) with lemon butter for an extra $ 8.00. My husband ordered the fish and chips. It probably took 20 – 25 minutes for our food to come out, but it was worth the wait! Everything was perfect. All delicious, hot and made to my liking. My husband mentioned it was my birthday and bonefish gave me a small complimentary boxed chocolates. Experience was awesome! Love it here!!!

Love this place. Great seafood. Great service. The Tilapia Imperial is my go to. Well balanced and decadent. On my last visit they had their soft shell crab. It’s always such a treat to get that. They stuff it with a crab cake. I had it with thermidor sauce. As always, fantastic. Update: New menu items. Came in for dinner today specifically to try the Ribeye with White Truffle Butter Perfect cook. Great cut of meat! The menu doesn’t specify but that was definitely prime. The Truffle Butter was phenomenal! No extra charge and oh so good! Got, as always, the asparagus which was the biggest disappointment on the plate. When fresh asparagus is my biggest complaint you have done everything else to perfection. In the spirit of trying out the new menu I had the new Porcini Ravioli as my other side. Oh my goodness am I glad I did! Absolutely fantastic! They need to make an entrée out of this. Put these little treasures with a great fish and sauce and I’m in! Had a new wine to the menu as well. The 10 Spans Pinot Noir was the perfect accompaniment. Great berry freshness. Dry but not too dry. Not oaky(I HATE oaky). All in all this meal made me a bigger fan than I already was.

I feel like once every 10 – 12 months I get the idea to go here, and it always sounds like such a good idea. But then while I’m there I’m reminded of all the things I don’t like about this place. Let me start by saying that the food is tasty. I got the trout with lemon butter, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. All very tasty. Abby got the shrimp and scallops with the herb pesto. The shrimp were cooked correctly, and my trout was tasty. But the service here is always second tier, which wouldn’t be so bad if the check were $ 50 – 60, but with a couple glasses of wine, you’re easily going to be spending 80 – 90 here for a couple. At that price point my service expectations jump. We also ordered salads that were(according to the menu) cheaper with our entrees. When the bill came, the salads were listed as full price. The $ 2 – 3 extra doesn’t really bother me; it’s more that if you say on your menu that the salad is a certain price when ordered with an entrée, then you should charge the stated price. The waitress fixed one of the salads and then made-up some excuse about one of the entrees being ordered with an extra side as why we weren’t getting the discount on the salad, which isn’t stated anywhere on the menu, nor was it communicated to us when the entrée was ordered with two sides. And I don’t understand why an overpriced restaurant is trying to nickel-and-dime you anyway. That annoys me too. Bottom line: I can cook seafood as well or better at home much cheaper and not be annoyed by amateur serving errors. Hopefully, 10 – 12 months from now I’ll re-read my own review before trying to go here again.
