Took my daughter to Boot Country today for ideas for Santa. In the 20 minutes we were in the store not only did no one acknowledge we were there I couldn’t even get anyone to come and help us. The store wasn’t crowded but I have to assume commission is involved because both employees were more interested in ringing out customers than providing customer service. Hopefully I can find the boots she wanted some place else because I hope this is my last trip to Boot Country.

A little slice of the country right in the middle of suburban Tri-County. If you’re in search of some truly authentic western wear, Boot Country is the right place for you. I picked out a pair of gorgeous tan Durango leather boots… they fit my feet perfectly and they’re probably the most comfortable shoes I own. They’re also durable, I’ve worn the hell out of them and they still look brand new. My boyfriend, who hails from hillbilly Indiana, thinks this is the coolest store in Cincinnati. He picked up two pairs of Wrangler Jeans and a Jack Daniels t-shirt. Staff here is super friendly and understanding, though I got some strange appraising looks when I walked in the store for the first time(I think I was in a dress and wearing heels). They were more than willing to let me try on every boot in stock, which is exactly what I did.
