Kathy is the manager and is a really nice person. She helped me choose the right fog machine that we needed and even called her rep when I had questions. She told me that I could return the fog machine the we purchased for our church if it did not preform properly and she graciously did. She told me to please bring back to fog juice as well. At first I did not return the juice because I thought it would be no good to them opened. She said its not a problem please bring it back. I found the receipt and called her to see if it was ok to come today, she basically accused me of some sort of foul play, saying the machine worked perfect when they tested it. It did not work perfect for us when we tried it out. We had a fog machine that we used in the past that work for more than 20 seconds and cut off. That is what we were expecting and comparing it to. This one shot out for a very small amount of time then stopped and would not start up again for a good while. No where on the box does it say anything about that. It did not even fill our small room before stopping it self. :( Trust and honesty are important to me and when someone says they are going to do something they should follow thru. The machine did not work properly for us or at least the way we thought a normal fog machine would run plain and simple. The customer doesn’t not come first at this company. The store is nice and I still appreciate Kathy taking the machine back but I’m disappointed she went back on her word about the liquid. We still need a fog machine and will be getting one on amazon.

With it being so close to Halloween, I didn’t think I would find the costume I wanted, however one of the associates helped me pick out the entire outfit!

Tried to return 2 packages of «2013» graduation napkins that were identifiably their stock. My husband purchased these less than 1 week ago. I had the credit card receipt but not their«teeny tiny» itemized receipt. { think(?) the receipt does not have item descriptions, anyway.} Again, these napkins were on their shelves as I was visiting the store. They would not accept return of the items without the«teeny tiny» receipt even though I had the credit card receipt. They would not even issue store credit. I will never patronize any of their stores again!(I remember having issues once before at this store.) ‘Plain and simple… this establishment is NOT about customer service.

This is the best costume place in this area that I’ve found. The selection is huge. They have costumes, every accessory, party supplies, wedding and birthday party decorations. It’s a little worrisome that I walked into a completely empty store on a Saturday. I don’t know how long that location has been there but it makes you wonder if it will be there long with business like that. There were 3 associates there and no one offered any assistance. I had to break up their conversation to get some help in locating what I needed. Once I did though, they were very helpful.

This place isn’t terrible… they’ve got a decently big selection of costumes, craft materials, & decorating gear… most of the costumes are of the typical campy cliché kind Halloween brings about, but of course Cappel’s is open year-round. My only complaint about this place is that actually getting an associate to help was tough. The woman who was running the register seemed more focused on talking about her kids to a few people(I got the impression that she was friends with them) who had«dropped in to say ‘hi’ «…she couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge myself or Nathan, pause her conversation to ring us up, or even to find another associate that could help us. Even if it weren’t a little out-of-the-way, I wouldn’t come back here.
