Proud to say this was my home. I know this is a late review but what a great message and vision it had. Hope someday it will be reopened even if it is at a new location nearby. This helped me grow into the person i am and i would do whatever it took to live the days all over again.

Hats off to Moroski & Rogers! Everyone, please do me a favor and go check this place out… no joke, a real treasure to our city. Mike Moroski has outdone himself on this one… For a non-profit, this place packs more charm and character into their walls than arguably anywhere else in the city. If you want to feel the heartbeat of our great city, go check out Choices and spend an afternoon with the Mikes and experience something that is truly hard to find these days. This place WILL surprise you… in a good way! A real A+ establishment, and the perfect representation of the spirit of Cincinnati! Much love to MDM

Choices Café is a place unlike any other — not just in Over-the-Rhine but throughout Cincinnati. It is a café, but the coffee is free. I’d actually like to consider it more of a community gathering spot for a grand salon(not the hair dresser place but the one for ideas). It’s a safe place where people of all kinds and races and incomes and so on can gather and chat and just enjoy each other’s company. I’m sure this is not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s not in the nicest of neighborhoods and even as I parked my car and walked in, I got some strange looks from people out on the street. Ignore them, Choices is a safe zone. Or better yet, go talk to them! They were friendly as I said, «Hello.» Choices was started by three guys who were trying to make the city more of a melting pot, and it really is a space for all. There’s a very pretty medium-sized room with chairs as you walk in, another sitting room behind this and a gorgeous outdoor space with a stage if you keep going back … well, gorgeous is relative, since it is surrounded by dilapidated and falling down buildings. Still, the courtyard they have, with a giant beautiful tree growing in the middle of OtR, does make you stop and go, «wow.» Do you need a place to hold a meeting, teach a class, just hang out? Choices. The guys who run it are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and it’s a great place to just sit for a second. Step out of your comfort zone and check this place out. It’s worth the trip, I assure you.
