Let’s be honest, what woman actually enjoys going to the hoo-​ha doctor? I’m going to take a gamble and say NO ONE. I’m also going to take a wild guess and say most women would prefer a female gynecologist over a male.
If either of those describe you, I highly recommend Crescent Women’s. Their entire staff, from doctors to nurses to receptionists, is comprised of women. The only time you will see a man inside their doors is when a pharmaceutical rep is stopping by, or a daddy-​to-​be is accompanying his significant other.
I see Theresa Bauer, who actually is only a midwife and nurse, but she does yearly well woman exams as well. I adore her, as much as one can possibly adore the doctor who makes her incredibly uncomfortable once a year. She’s very easy to talk to, and makes the exam and quick and painless as possible.
