Dry Effect

I called late at night on a Friday about mold I had found in my apartment and Josh was able to be over in the early afternoon Saturday. He did thermal imaging and checked the relative humidity and explained what exactly we were looking at. Although he was the bearer of bad news, he offered suggestions about what I should do.
It was unfortunate I needed to contact Dry Effect, but they provided great customer service and a quick response.

My house developed some mold after we discovered a leaky water valve that had been slowly dripping for a while. Josh (the owner) quickly came over to assess the situation even though I called him on a weekend and his crew was in the house for demolition within a week. I appreciate that they were able to squeeze in my job so quickly especially despite that my job occurred at the same time as flooding in Texas/​Oklahoma which I understand that they sent several crews to help out with flooding damage. Josh was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The crew that he sent was also very friendly and explained everything that they would be doing. The job was finished within about 6 days. Hopefully, I never get mold again but I would gladly use Dry Effect again. They are excellent professionals. After checking around, their pricing was also quite fair.

Found some potential mold behind my fridge after water line sprung a leak and called these guys on a recommendation from a friend in home inspection. They came out within a few hours, took care of it, and were happy to answer all my questions. I would definitely go with this company if I needed anything major done because they handled the little problem so well.

This company has been incredible to work with! Our basement flooded at like 2 am. We were up all night & called a few other places with no real success. Another local business (Mike Hensley’s Plumbing) actually referred me to Dry Effect. When I called around 8 am, the first thing they said to me was «I’m sorry this happened to you.» No one else says anything even remotely close.
Within about an hour, the co-​owner Josh was at my house & the first thing he said was «I’m sorry this happened & we have to meet like this.»
I genuinely have felt like this company actually cared about me, my family, and our home. They have been wonderful to work with, extremely flexible, completed solid work, and really reasonable pricing. I hope to never HAVE to do business with them again, but if there is a need, my only call will be Dry Effect.
