Between waiting to order and waiting for the food, we waited for about 45 minutes which would be fine if the food had been excellent. My paneer sandwich was good but my friends noodle bowl was completely flavorless and skimpy on the veggies. With the food quality, I would have given this 2 or 3 stars except that when I picked up the food and asked for a second set of(normal plastic) silverware so we could share I was told«No. No way.» I thought he was joking. He was not. Bottom line: Poor service, mediocre to good food.

In my opinion EAT! is one of the best food trucks in Cincinnati. I first had the opportunity to EAT! during the World Choir Games. My husband and I shared two sandwiches — the grilled paneer and grilled chicken sandwiches. While the grilled chicken sandwich was good, the grilled paneer sandwich was great and I’ve ordered it a couple of times since. The paneer had a great texture and the tamarind onions add some amazing flavor to the sandwich. Yes, it does take a while to get your food, but I prefer that — it means my sandwich wasn’t sitting in a warmer for hours but instead is freshly made. If you only have 5 minutes for lunch then go to a fast food restaurant. If you want freshly made, delicious and unique food then check out EAT!

I loved the paneer sandwich I tried, and the husband really enjoyed his day after Thanksgiving turkey sandwich. Great late night eating for a decent price! We got our food fairly quickly and I can’t wait to try something else on the menu.

I found the Eat! Mobile Dining truck outside Washington Park this past weekend when I saw ArtsWave’s summer Shakespeare series. I had the marinated(rubbed? Seared? Something…) chicken sandwich, which was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, though I think the mushrooms were marinated too long. But the chicken was out of this world, and while I can’t say what kind of cheese he used, I can say that I found myself ready to lick the basket. I have one complaint: It cost $ 3 for the dinkiest bag of almonds I’ve ever seen. I think there were about 20 almonds in the bag. Were they delicious? Absolutely. Would I buy again? Heck no! My other complaint isn’t really a complaint, but more of a personal issue: I hate waiting. I was in line for 15 minutes. Then it took 20 minutes for my order to come up. It’s because of this that I will most likely shy away next time, but I would recommend it to anybody who has some time to kill. By the time I got my order the play had already started, and I got there with plenty of time to spare. One last thing — the staff is incredibly friendly. It’s a shame that their food takes so long to prepare. This place really ought to be a restaurant.

Hangry! Mobile Dining would be a more suitable name. I visited EAT during a street festival and was excited to try out a new food truck. The Paneer and Chutney sandwich sounded unique and delicious, so I decided to give it a try. There were only two people ahead of me in queue and three workers in the truck, so I figured the line would move pretty fast. I waited for 20 minutes for my food. For that kind of wait, I was expecting a pretty spectacular sandwich. What I received was anything but. Between two pieces of Shadeau bread was a block of grilled Paneer cheese that tasted hard and lukewarm. Typically, Paneer has a texture like tofu; I was disappointed. Topped with a few spoonfuls of chutney and romaine, I was puzzled at why this meal took so long to prepare. Did they go all the way to India to retrieve the chutney? I should’ve just asked the clerk for my money back. Price: $ 5.50

The staff was very friendly. The rosemary chicken sandwich is great! I went there while my friends went to Chipotle. I was able to order, find a table and finish my sandwich before they got their food.

Finally stopped by this new food truck parked on Fountain Square. After reading about it online, I had to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! The menu differs from other Cincy food truck fare — you won’t find tacos or burgers. Instead, there are salads, sandwiches, and even scallops! Yup. Plunk down your 3.50 for a tender, flavorful scallop. It’s definitely worth the splurge. I also tried the paneer sandwich with chutney and greens on multigrain bread. It was filling but still light enough fare that I didn’t crash at my desk after lunch. There are mix and match pasta as well as a yummy sounding Thanksgiving Leftovers sandwich that the chef said was really popular. The chef and his helper were very friendly and chatted with me while they prepped my meal. I imagine that this might not be as fast as Chipotle or other lunch spots, but if you have the time, check it out. They also roam around Northside and OTR during late-night hours. Win!

Visiting from New York, and absolutely loved the food. Passed Chef Jason and his cool van, has a really great vibe. And did I say the food was fantastic? Simple pasta with grilled chicken, garlic, olive oil… I even went back today in the rain. Cincinnati has a very good thing in Eat Mobile Dining.
